Amazing Quality Product!!!
I just used these curformers today. I have hair that is in the range 3c/4a. Very kinky at the roots and it gets wavy at the ends, it is quite long, just below shoulder length, and I just have a lot of hair. Based on the recommendations it said that you needed at least 40 to cover a whole head. I purchased 4 boxes (64 total) to cover my whole head. And yes I needed all 64. Once you get the hang of it they are really easy to use, and you don't necessarily need to be looking in the mirror to put them in, but it does help you plan the layout of where they go. I decided not to sleep in them, waaayyy too many to sleep in and I just used the my soft hood bonnet to dry them in sections. 64 curformers did not fit in my dryer bonnet. If the makers of these curformers say that their soft hood dryer bonnet does fit 64 curformers I would like to see this item for myself, or it would be nice if they considered making a soft hood dryer bonnet that big. I do suggest to those that may have said your hair comes out when they remove them to make sure you untwist the former and pinch open the end closest to your head before sliding them off, it will release the constriction the curler is placing on your hair. Either way the end product was beautiful. My family loved it. Make sure you place them as close as possible to your roots if you have kinky hair/roots to give your hair a consistent look all over. Definitely highly recommend this product for indirect heat or no heat styling! One last thing, the hooks that come with the curlformers are quite solid. It would be nice if they were easier to pull back apart. They do need to be solid but i had to use a towel to add more grip to my hands to pull them apart.

My HG hair styling product
These are my HG hair styling product. I searched for a long time for a heat-free way to style my hair to my liking. I have mid-back length hair which is fine and very prone to frizz. I set the curlers on saturated hair with styling mousse applied and let them dry overnight. I get big loose frizz-free spiral curls very similar to how my hair dresser curls my hair with a 1 inch flat iron. There is a learning curve in using them, but after a few times using them I can put in the curlers in a very short time and without snagging my hair. The only draw-backs I can think of are that they are expensive and not very comfortable to sleep in. The curl you get with these curlers though is worth it!

Painful, but worth it.
These are fast and easy to put it. It did take 3 or 4 tries to get it right, but once I did it went really quickly. I highly recommend watching Youtube videos of people putting these on. The only downside is that they are very painful to sleep in. It is a bit better if you don't put them on as close to your scalp as you can. If given a little more room to move around they are less painful to sleep in, but still very uncomfortable. I'd say its worth it though. The curls don't last all day in my hair unless I use a bit of hairspray after I am done styling. It only takes a bit and then they stay looking good all through my 10 hour work day.

Curls the hair as it says, but...
Not as easy as it looks. At least for me and my clumsy fingers. Hard to set right at scalp. I suppose my hair is too thin to hold them well. I feel like I need to grab a lot more hair and yet there isn't much that'll reach that one area. Would love to try it on my daughters who all have thick, lush hair still. Will probably donate mine to someone with thicker hair to use. I did try it on my 3 year old granddaughter and it worked well enough. She was moving all over the place so it wasn't really "properly" done, but they also stayed put until we removed them and she never complained about having them in her hair, no pain. The curls were cute....sloppy and bent at top and bottom where hair goes in and out, but otherwise worked great. I think if she sat still and we could have faced them all the right way and put them in tight at the scalp it may have worked perfectly.

Damaged hair
These were very difficult to pull my hair through. I found using smaller strands helped, but still very damaging to hair. Sleeping in them was a nightmare. Very uncomfortable to say the least. The next morning after torturing my hair, the curls did come out very nice, but my hair was damaged from the pulling it through. Used them once and gave them away to a friend who used them twice and she threw them away.
