Fits our GE TFX22ZP refrigerator
Fits a GE TFX22ZP refrigerator. Original part # was WR6OX179. Because this is a universal part, you must cut the wiring harness on the refrigerator, strip the two wires, and connect to the new fan motor with the included wire nuts. It doesn't matter which way you connect the wires, the motor will spin the correct direction either way. While you have the refrigerator pulled out, be sure to clean the coils from the back as well. Our 25 year old refrigerator works like new now.Pic attached is the fan you must replace. I forgot to take a picture of the new fan before I installed it.

Good Replacement for GE 5ksm51ag 5332
I purchased this motor in June 2022 and the seller was Edgewater Parts. The motor I received was not branded Supco however the listed specs on the motor matched what was listed in the Amazon listing. The motor has a 1/4 inch diameter shaft with an exposed height of about 7/16 inches. The listed manufacturer of the motor I received was UEI Test Instruments and the model number stamped on the motor was UEM1021T. The motor seemed well made and looks like the picture in the Amazon listing minus the Supco label on the back. This could still be the same motor except there wasn't a Supco sticker on it and from my experience a lot of motor companies just rebadge motors under their name when they are actually made by another company. What I received was the motor itself, 4 machine screws, a rubber and metal washer for the shaft, and a metal nut. With this motor you need to reuse the fan blades from your old motor. I did not receive any wire nuts to splice wires together but I had plenty laying around so that wasn't a big deal.My refrigerator is a Whirlpool model ED5FTGXKQ01 which was manufactured in December 2001. The motor I replaced was the original that came with the frig which was a GE 5ksm51ag 5332 (1200 RPM, 115V 2W, Clockwise Rotation). The replacement motor was a drop-in replacement for the original motor with the exception that I needed to splice the wires. The OEM motor used a plug for the power lines so I just cut off the plug and spliced the wires together. I didn't have to modify the mounting bracket at all and all the needed screw holes lined up. The RPMs for the replacement motor was slightly faster but that didn't cause any problems. I can barely hear the motor running and the motor I replaced was failing and was making loud noises so the replacement motor made a huge difference in reducing the sound the fan was making while running. The order to mount the parts in my case was to first put the included rubber washer on the shaft, then the metal washer, then the fan, and then the metal nut.

Great replacement motor
The motor fit perfectly in my 29 year old Hotpoint refrigerator. The motor had long leads and wire nuts to connect to the wires from the original motor. Local part suppliers wanted $240.00 for the motor.

Easy-ish to install. Quiet. Moves lots of air.
What I needed to know: 1) Confirm my fan blade orientation so I don't reverse the fan, because my blades aren't symmetrical. 2) Looking at the fan spindle, the motor spins counterclockwise (contrary to another post here). 3) My fan blows away from the condenser and out the back of the fridge. Based on fridge-tech posts I read, this is typical. 4) It's an AC motor so it spins the same way no matter which way the wires are connected. --Assessment: Motor is quiet and moves lots of air. I'm happy with it.Installation: It wasn't hard to install. I didn't have room to remove the fan enclosure so I unbolted the fan from the enclosure and worked it out. Not hard but I had to be careful to not bend any fan blades. The old motor had a plug built into the housing, while this motor is just a two lead consumer cord. Most people cut the plug, strip the ends and wire nut the leads together. I opted to push the stripped wire ends into the plug and then wrap it all in electrical tape. Because that's how I roll.

Condenser fan motor
Perfect size and works great. Very quiet. If your original has a plug you will need to splice it but keep the plug just in case you need it in the future. Fridge is working great now. I did however have to defrost the entire unit as the entry ports from the freezer to the fridge had frozen and it wouldn't cool the fridge. Once I unplugged it for 1 day and defrosted everything she's running like a champ now.

Keep the refrigerator going with a box fan cooling the condenser coils until the motor is replaced.
I replaced my condenser fan motor in my GE refrigerator, Model No. TFX27ZRXF WW. The installation was very simple and easy to perform. All the necessary hardware for installation was shipped with the order. I removed the whole fan mount from the refrigerator as it was only held in place with one small screw, which I removed with a 5/16 socket. This enabled me to install the fan motor on my kitchen table. I had to cut the connecter wires and splice in the new motor wires with the supplied wire nuts and all I needed was some diagonal pliers to cut the wires and a star point, T-30 driver to remove the old motor. The screws for the new motor only required a common screw driver. I had to transfer the old fan blades from the old motor to the new motor. I used the small rubber washer between the fan blades and the motor and it worked just fine. My refrigerator is 24 years old and all I've had to do so far is replace the evaporator fan motor and now the condenser fan motor. It works like new now.

So far so good!
A good replacement for my noisy old refrigerator fan motor. The three mounting bolts line right up and the fan mostly lines up with the alignment dowel. I just cranked the nut down well and it’s secure. You will need a basic understanding of electrical wiring to hook this up. It is not plug and play. My old plug included a case ground and the new motor only has wires for positive and negative. I added a case ground for safety.
