Works great!
I have bought 3 of those babies (have a tree that worked as a fourth post) and have installed them this weekend. It works great for my hammocks. Note they are not very high, so make sure you space them quite a bit (you can always use extra chain if your hammock is too short, but you will be stuck if your hammock is too long and you have the posts too close together. I have installed my 16 feet away from each other.Important: you will need 5 bags of Quickrete (the red bag, 50 pounds) for EACH post hole. I like it since you don't have to mix the concrete -- just pour the dry concrete on the hole and then add water.Enjoy your hammock!

Great solution!
Lost 5 trees on my property over the past few years due to storms &/or aging and sorely missed my hammock. Bought this green pole kit and my handyman installed it quickly & quite easily, with a shovel and a sack of "quickcrete". I chose to place it at the edge of a 6' hedge & it blends in beautifully with the landscaping. We hung my new hammock between this pole and a beautiful, grand old oak tree. Perfect!

Best tree I have ever used for a hammock
And to think I had specked out two different types of poles with sleeves using pieces from a hardware store before finding this item. It was exactly what I needed. I actually have two trees in my front yard that are 30 ft apart and I put the pole in the middle of them both. I can now put the hammock to either tree depending on where the sun is facing or I can put one hammock to each tree using the same pole. I drilled another hole at the top on the opposite side to accommodate a second hammock. I am using the Kammok Python Straps on the trees. Wow these straps are fantastic as well. The sleeve was easy to install and I used almost 200 lbs of concrete. I am hanging a double hammock most of the time and with my wife and I 330 lbs there is no sag or movement at all. Highly recommend this pole if you are missing a tree. :)

Great!
As described, easy to install and sturdy. I purchased mine to use for my washing lines as I wanted a removable pole and it's exactly what I needed.

Excellent sturdy hammock post
Perfect! I have a single large tree in my back yard, and have always wanted to hang a hammock. This post fit the bill exactly as needed. My one minor qualm is I wish it came with a cap for the piece. I ordered a pvc cap to prevent rain, and debris from getting in.

Why did I wait so long?
I have had this on my wish list for a year. I kept waiting for it to drop. I even "made" my own version. Guess what, you get what you pay for. Mine bent after a week and I was out $25. I finally ordered this one that I have dreamt of. Wowza. It is awesome. I followed the directions and dug the hole, and used concrete. The pole is easy to remove for mowing and storage when not in use. I couldn't be happier with this pole.

Strong post with the perfect height. Seems built to last a reasonable amont of time.
Strong and easy to install removable in ground post. Works perfectly for my hammock with one end attached to this pole, the other to a palm tree. Only time will tell how it holds up to the salt spray at our ocean front home.
