Home Defense without the toxicity
Definitely will be rebuying next year considering its benefits with repelling insects and animals.

Mosquitoes beware
I received this product earlier today and sprayed it with a fairly inexpensive fogger mixed to the correct amounts. Although my sprayer had some issues, I instantly noticed that the mosquitoes and gnats hanging around in the grass started to flea (pun intended).Pros:Also repels vampires when combined with a wooden cross and holy water.Cons:Studies have found that mice have retained better long-term and short-term memories when exposed to garlic regularly. Use caution not to over-expose your yard to too much of this stuff or you will need to stock up on cheese more often.

Seems to help with grasshoppers in apple orchard
We have an apple orchard and were hit with a lot of grasshopper damage this year. The leaves of some of the smaller trees were almost totally stripped. I sprayed this twice about a week apart. It does not kill grasshoppers, but there was a noticeable reduction in most of the orchard. some trees seemed completely clear and others had only a few hoppers on some tips. Very strong garlic smell! I will be ordering another bottle to have on hand so I can spray earlier next year.

Seems to work ok, but not for long
Love to be able to use something that’s good for the environment and doesn’t kill pollinators and other desired things in a garden. Easy enough to mix into a water bottle. Doesn’t smell once sprayed outside. Seems to work pretty well against mosquitoes, but you gotta use about a decent amount and it doesn’t seem to last long. I was able to get about a day before it started to wane. Great if you plan on spending time outside, but is more expensive than pesticides. If you care about the environment and pollinators, then may be a valid option.

Works
We live in a high mosquito area near ponds & the river. Our neighbors complain about mosquitoes all the time and have their property sprayed by the county. We use this. We have hardly any mosquitoes. we recently remodeled and have screens now, but we didn’t even have screens for years. Currently our neighbors are complaining about mosquitoes next-door. we’ve only seen one or two all year. Lasts a long time as well.

It works! After you try all the home remedies that don't work - get Garlic Barrier.
Several years ago I had so many huge fire ant mounds in my yard. I tried several of the nontoxic home remedies but they didn't work. I finally bought Garlic Barrier and the ant hills disappeared. It has been several years now and this week I saw a small colony of fire ants in my front yard - so now I'm going to get out the Garlic Barrier and get rid of them before they take over. Great product. No one has paid me to review it. I also like the garlic smell - but it goes away.

Doesn't work for me
Didn't work. Sprayed everywhere, it was like ringing the dinner bell. As the mosquitos swarmed me, I resorted to spraying it directly on them. All it did was upset them, and made them more determined. In fact, it may have mutated their intelligence level, as they seemed to develop a tactical plan to distract me in the front, while others flanked me. The poor dog and I fought a valiant fight (her snapping as they attacked her, while I had the spray bottle in one hand and a baseball cap in the other, swinging and spraying wildly. Too bad the missus didn't catch it on video, I'm sure she would have watched it over and over for entertainment value), but we ultimately had to retreat inside.(In all fairness, I also tried the 'ultrasound' method. That didn't work either, so perhaps the mosquitos here in Japan just haven't got the memo yet.)

Got deer? You NEED this.
I'll never go without this stuff again during a summer gardening season. The deer want NOTHING to do with my vegetables and fruit bushes when I spray this in the mornings. I'd tried everything and none of it worked; this is the holy grail of deer deterrents. Reeks of garlic after you spray it, but the smell dies down after a short time when it dries. Don't be scared; go garlic!
