I make a mug of this hot cocoa at night before going to sleep. It's easy to mix a tablespoon of the cocoa powder with a cup of boiling water and dissolves with a quick stir. I like that the ingredients are minimal, organic and from plants. I like knowing that the Reishi mushrooms in the cocoa are reducing inflammation and helping my immune system. I've also found I go to sleep faster when I have a mug of this before bed. You definitely taste the coconut & monk fruit and it has a strong dark cocoa flavor so I add a bit of sweetened cream. For me the price is definitely worth the benefits.

I am truly impressed with the couple of things I have purchased from Four Sigmatic. And this "cocoa" drink is MY favorite. I wish I could keep it on hand always, but cost prohibits me from doing so. Therefore, I buy it when I can and savor EVERY LITTLE SIP! Believe me, it's worth it.

This mostly lived up to expectations. However, you have to get used to drinking hot cocoa that is bitter. It is mostly unsweetened cocoa powder. However, adding some sweetener does not seem to dampen its sleep benefits. I used a little Creme De Cocao. Personally I found Melatonin to help me sleep and CBD to help me stay asleep worked better. But that's me. Even with this I went back to sleep easily when I had to get up in the middle of the night. So it definitely worked. If I take nothing I am up after three am.

Mushroom caco is very good when I mix it with my organic coffee ….I love it …..it is well worth it, Low sugar Contant I use my organic cane sugar in my coffee and teas

This product is absolutely amazing. It’s not too sweet and not too bitter, at least for my taste, and it’s definitely calming. This is the first time I’ve bought the larger size. I’m giving it an 3 instead of a 5 because it didn’t come in the round container with a lid, like on the advertised picture. It came in a plastic bag. I would rather have the product in the container on the picture— easier to reseal, easier to store, easier to spoon out of a container than a bag, and less waste of product in a container versus fumbling around in a bag.

I had purchased this beverage a few years ago and enjoyed it and found it to be relaxing at the end of a hard day. However the small serving size made it expensive and I stopped reordering. When I saw there was more of a bulk package I decided to try ordering it again, even though it was still expensive. I thought at least I could get a decent size cup of hot chocolate if I wanted to double up. However this product is not the same as the previous product. I am very sorry to say that this product is disgusting AND not calming at all. People DO BETTER. Go back to your original product, with the option of the bulk size. It is still expensive but now much less worthwhile.

This taste amazing when adding to my morning coffee. It taste good by itself but I love adding the mushroom benefits to my morning routine. Dissolves well and adds a delicious mocha flavor.
