THIS WAS A TEAR JERKER
I WASN'T ABLE TO GO TO SIGHT AND SOUND TO SEE THIS PLAY IN PERSON, BUT THE DVD MADE UP FOR IT. THE COLOR WAS VERY CRISP, THE MUSIC AND ACTORS/ACTRESSES WERE WONDERFUL. AND THE SCENES WERE SPECTACULAR.

How did they make Jesus walk on water on the stage?! I saw this Musical three times at the Sight and Sound Theaters in PA, and each time, it leaves me astounded at the first class quality of the entire production. The moving and realistic props, that immense background screen, the quality of the vocals, and most of all, the message that resonated with my soul: He left the 99 when I was the 1!You see it all throughout the play -- how Jesus did not just reach out to all collectively, but to each one of us personally. You see Jesus one on one pursuing the demoniac from Gadara, with Mary Magdalene as she was accused, with Nicodemus as he was pondering, with Lazarus as he was raised from the dead, with each of his disciples as they walked with Him. Jesus is a personal God!This streaming version of the show adds another dimension to it, as I can now see the characters up close, the joys and the pains clearly etched on their faces, the words and songs clearly heard.Too often, Christians have to endure low-budget, low quality Christian shows and movies --- but Sight and Sound stands out in the quality and professionalism of their shows. They would rise head and shoulders above the best of Broadway. I cannot recommend this Christian company enough! They do this with a passion to present the Gospel of Christ, and they do it in an aesthetically pleasing way.Go and watch their shows in Ronks, PA and Branson, MO. Then buy their DVDs and streaming shows. You will never regret it, and you will be blessed!

I liked it
I bought this DVD, thinking that it was a movie about Jesus but actually it is a musical, which I can all honestly say that I’m not a fan of musicals, but this was pretty good. It was scripted well to the word of God and I actually did like it enough to keep it.

Saw the play in Branson and just had to have the movie
The play was great and the movie lets you bring the memories of the play home with you so you can watch it again or let your friends and relatives come over to watch it. Possibly starting a discussion. Great for church movie nights also
