Can i use this for car interior?

I would not suggest it. The paper seems to not stick in hot situations so if you left your car in the sun or in a warm garage it would most likely leave a sticky mess.

Will this damage or be hard to get off of a desk surface? I am looking to put this on a black desk that comes with my apartment.

It is easy to reposition while applying, so I think it will probably come off cleanly when you’re done. It’s good, basic contact paper, so I think you’ll be okay.
