Welcome to the Symphony: A Musical Exploration of the Orchestra Using Beethoven's Symphony No. 5

This book was a fun way to explore the symphony, and all the different instruments! The added audio learning from the buttons really brings it to life. My kids have loved hearing the instruments and comparing them.

My 2-year-old grandson LOVES this book and entertains himself in his bed in the morning by playing the music and looking at the pages for up to an hour. The first book he wants to read in the evening too. “Bate-HO-ven” is his favorite composer :).

Buttons are easy, text is informative, my toddler is very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the different instruments in an orchestra now and points them out in music she hears!

This book is my 2 year olds biggest obsession. She’s been asking for it multiple times a day for over a month since I bought it. This is brilliant. Best kids book I’ve ever bought. Rather than wanting to watch TV, she only wants to watch videos of symphonies and press the buttons in the book when different instruments come on screen. We’ve probably had well over 100 hours of entertainment from this book.

Very well done, but not what I was looking for. Introduction to the sounds of each individual instrument, but not much actual music of the whole orchestra.

My grandson is obsessed with this book!!! He insists it be read every day, often multiple times . Its companion book, Introduction to Jazz , is even more popular. They are both lovely introductions to music styles and you can adjust how much you dive into all the materials and information based on the child’s age without loosing the meanings behind the books.

What a fantastic book to get my 2.5 year old to further explore his passion for music. We don't do screen time so books especially interactive books are a real treat for him. This is both enjoyable and educational. Bravo

My kids love music books. This gave me the opportunity to keep their interest in classical music as well as give them more context in how symphonies work. They love it!
