Bought this as a way to mount a metal plate on it so I wasn't putting it on the iPad itself, and then mounting it on a Scosche magnetic mount on my desk.It fit just fine 90% of the Ipad, but the problem is the large gap left to charge your Apple Pencil is pretty much structurally necessary for this type of material to hold its shape. The part that is supposed to cover the buttons barely goes over the buttons themselves. Fits poorly because the material is too flimsy and needs that extra part where the pen is supposed to charge. It did its job until I was able to get a different type of stiffer plastic, which was shipping 3 weeks later due to the COVID delays. You can use this in a pinch, but don't expect it to provide significant protection for anything greater than a foot drop, and good luck if it only falls on the back. Zero faith it would protect the front if dropped from any distance.
