DynaTrap 100611 Atrakta Mosquito Lure Sachet for Any DynaTrap Insect Trap, Lasts 60 Days, Mosquito Trap Attractant

I’ve had Dino traps for years, but I didn’t know they had attractants to go in them. I recently purchased this and put it in my Dino trap in the bottom where it trapped the bugs. Seems to work great. The only thing I’d say is when you open the package to take out the attractant make sure you’re outside cause this stuff smells if you’re within about 2 feet of it you can smell it but farther than that you can’t so it’s great at attracting the bugs you don’t want.

Sure does attract bugs. *Note* Do not touch to your nose! Good add to the bug catcher. Highly recommend

Didn't have mosquito problem.

We have an acre and use 4 Dynatraps at each corners. We noticed that the mosquitoes had been getting worse the last 2 years and this year they were exceptionally bad. After a little Google sleuthing we got one of these for each Dynatrap and turned off all of our landscape lighting so as not to compete with the Dynatrap lights. After one night the mosquitoes were few and far between and after 3 nights there were no mosquitoes in the yard! We even hosted a backyard BBQ and there were no mosquitoes to be seen and not one person got bit.

This item worked really good for a few days attracting all the mosquitoes, but it stopped working within five days.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’m honestly the first one bit out of a group, mosquitos LOVE me. My dynotrap did no justice to the Asian tiger mosquitos that hunted in the daylight but good gracious what a difference over the last two weeks. We had a real infestation of them I would get bit all over my head 30 minutes after applying spray. This stuff started working immediately. I can now enjoy my backyard to relax and do landscapping without loading up on mosquito spray that I hate because of the smell and chemicals. A bit expensive but I don’t care I’ll replace every few weeks if I need to because I’m always outside, thanks to my toddlers. People are complaining of smell but it wasn’t bad at all, I rather have this stuff smell like garbage and work because it’s placed on the back of my yard and I never smell it. I have a pond near me and other homes close by so I was worried it wouldn’t help but when I went to my neighbors house 3 doors down I got bit immediately.

I tried a dynatrap without any attractant, and it didn’t work on the mosquitoes in my area. So, I tried this attractant. It’s pretty pricey, but if it worked, I would have kept the device.Nope. Adding the attractant didn’t improve anything for the dynatrap, even after being out for 1-2 weeks.I returned both.

When you open this packet, be ready for a powerful nasty scent, but it truly does work. If that's what we smell like to bugs, it makes me want to shower even more often!It's very simple. You just pop into the bottom portion of your Dynatrap and that's it. You'll be shocked at how quickly it gets covered up in bugs. The only con is that you might want to wear gloves when cleaning it off as you will need to scrap the bugs off this as they do glom on it. My first round, I used my bare hands, and that smell took quite a few washings to get off.I can't tell exactly every bug it's pulling in because there's such a large amount of bugs on it, but it definitely pulls in moths and mosquitoes really well. I've had it 2 weeks so far, and our canopy tent has been bug free since using it. I've placed this about 15 feet away and having to clean it out every 3-4 days. Worth every cent.
