I don't use table salt that has iodine, so I need a supplement. I like the idea of the kelp and iodine pills from NaturesPlus. It is a good value for the money and 300 pills is nearly a year's supply. I take it to relieve the dry eyes I had and I no longer use as many eye drops as I once did. It seemed to help a lot and rid me of eye discomfort.

This from the manufacture: "Kelp is a vegetarian product but because of how the kelp is harvested it may contain minute traces of shrimp and krill". This makes sense and most likely all kelp products will now have this allergen warning for liability and malpractice safe guards-
