Love this set!
This is a great little set for sourdough bakers. I use most of the items every time I bake. I wasn't sure I'd use the dough whisk or the scraper, but I DO! The linen banneton liners clean up nicely in the washer & dryer...no unravelling. Highly recommend!

just right for the one loaf at a time home bread baker
Works nicely when well floured, sized right for a mid size 1 1/4 pound loaf.500gm bread flour, 12gm salt, 1/3c fed sourdough starter, 325gm water. Autolyse for 4-16 hours then add the starter and salt. Preshape the dough after the bulk ferment, rest it a bit and then shape it a little to get some surface tension, then do the final rise in the brotform for a couple hours. Turn it over gently onto some parchment paper and slowly lift the basket; the linen peels off easily. If you do a retarded ferment (in the fridge overnight) the cold dough will just about fall out. A couple artistic slashes with your lame, and then into the oven. You get a pretty loaf every time, enough for 4-6 people to share with dinner.I've got two of these now, because I'm baking more than ever. I bake one for us, and one to give away.

Nice set
This is a nice set. There was only a single sliver on one of the baskets, easily removed. Otherwise, the construction is good and the accessories are very useful.

It's large enough.
There are a lot of reviews that say, more or less, this item is smaller than expected. That was my initial impression and I almost returned it for that reason until I realized that return shipping would cost $6 for a $12 item to begin with. So I decided to try it, sized as it is, with an average modern bread dough recipe (2 loaves, 1,000 grams flour, overnight slow rise) to test whether it was properly sized in fact.I found that this size is correct for a good size loaf, half of the average two-loaf recipe, because it's only a rising basket, not the container the bread is baked in, nor the final size of the loaf. After rising, you dump it out onto parchment paper or a peel and the dough expands in all directions from gravity after the support of the wicker is gone, and more importantly it expands from "oven spring," the size increase that happens in the oven. After baking, if you have a larger loaf, your bread knife won't reach all the way across the loaf.Otherwise, the quality of the wicker is the same as the other, circular bannetons I have. I can't figure out what you're supposed to do with the cloth cover. I have several and never use them. The cloth quality, elastic and sewing seems about the same as all the others. It's a decent banneton, properly sized unless you like giant loaves. You need two for a 1,000 grams of flour bread recipe.

Works great, zero issues!
I've been on a Sourdough kick so I figured I'd bite the bullet and pick up a pair of these ovals. Great decision. When I first open the box I was "OH NO! They're TOO small!" but they're the PERFECT size for individual loaves and I've so far had ZERO issue with the dough sticking to the material. (I use rice flour to dust).I would unreservedly suggest these to others.

Quality could be better
I really like this basket but unfortunately for me, I received one with minor wood damage. I wouldn't mind so much if it was on the outside but it's on the inside and now I'll have to sand it down or something to keep from making bread with splinters in it. Other than that, it's a great basket.
