Good product with one small problem
The cable works as expected but it has a flashing LED on the PC end of the cable. While this is useful it does make the end of the cable chunky and wide. This makes it impossible to connect other USB cables next to it so if you need to see activity on a switch and a router at the same time with the console port you may be limiting your options

Works perfectly on a Mac M2 Silicon but use driver from the app store
Vendor instructions not good and didn't mention a driver on the App store which 100% solves a dev/tty visibility problem. With the vendor driver only, device shows in the Mac's System Information as a USB Serial Controller but not as a terminal device under /dev/tty* .Install the driver from the App Store to make it shows up as a serial device,e.g. /dev/tty.PL2303G-USBtoUART830Then you can use CoolTerm (for example) and connect to your console device.

Works but difficult to get drivers
It's rather hard to get the drivers for this product. Though, once you have them, the cable works as expected. Not quite as "plug and play" as the Cisco Serial to RJ45.
