This is hands down a must have!! Easy to install & easy to use! There are no excuses why your flowers are not being watered! Once this product is installed you are able to unreel the hose and lock the hose in place. To retract the hose you can pull the hose out a foot and the reel will do the work of wrapping the hose up. I usually help guide the hose back. The reel can swivel 180 degrees. Making it easy to go in which ever direction you need.

Love this item. I previously purchased the 1/2" x 100' last year and it has worked flawlessly. So I purchased this 1/2" x 78' model for my back yard. Same great quality and easy of installation. I will say that the nozzle that's included isn't of the highest quality. My first started leaking badly within the year! The only other thing is the bracket. For this price, they could make it of metal and not that plastic. Overall, it's a must have!

An internal plastic part broke.I'm going to revise this review. The company contacted me through Amazon and offered to refund my purchase, which gives the customer service 5 stars. I'm changing my review of the product from 1 star to 4 stars. In reading the reviews, I'm seeing a lot of breakage of the two internal plastic parts. This could be due to leaving it out for the winter. I took mine into the basement, so freezing wasn't the problem; however, the one "T" piece broke. The internal parts need to be brass. It would help a lot. Otherwise, it works pretty well. We used it for an entire season last year.

Excellent solution for garage based outdoor spigots. The 100 ft of hose is ideal for watering new plantings or washing the car. I’d recommend installing at least one side into a wall stud and the other using the enclosed anchor bolts. Installation is firm and very sturdy. I’m very happy with my results that I also installed an identical one in my daughters garage.

2 year review: Very durable. Swivel feature is super helpful for making sure the cord doesn't kink as you're pulling. Straightforward mounting into my brick wall with a drill. Very easy to put away. Super smooth retracting. High quality hose. Gone are the days of tangled kinked chaotic hoses that require 2 people to put it away nicely.All in all I can't see myself ever going back to the classic crank to retract system. Night and day so much easier.In terms of leakage, no problems until this year when the nozzle (which is awesome) must have got hit by the cold in the garage. But I reached out to customer support and Grace sent me a new one immediately.Buy this thing.

Wish I had bought this sooner. After years of having to hand roll over 100 feet of hose anytime I needed to use it, having to deal with kinks and cracked areas that affected water flow, this is a lifesaver. Installed very easy and was leak free as well as the swivel feature keeps it out of the way when not in use. Best feature is its powerful recoil that prevents tangling. It's powerful recoil is the best part. The directions specifically say to turn off water and drain hose before recoiling and I forgot to do this, yet it recoiled with no issue. Great product

So far the reel and hose are working well. I don’t often use it or stretch it out to its max. 3/5 stars for the following reasons (mostly install):Included anchors: worthless if you are drilling into anything other than soft vinyl siding. I have brick, the anchors are worthless for going in the pre-drilled holes because they bend and mishape too much. Required a trip to Lowe’s and about $15 for 4 metal anchors and bolts.Drill requirement: included anchors require a bizarre drill size (7/16”). Good luck finding that. I’m guessing a Chinese product trying to convert from metric.Reel: pretty tough to use when the water is turned on. The directions say to have the water turned off and pressure released. After research, I found this to be one of the better retractable hoses. Strong, sturdy and the hose is easy to extract and retract. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for one thing. The water pressure is lower than two other hoses I had. It's not a huge deal but that's my only downfall
