RENOVA MEDICAL WEAR Mastectomy Recovery Shirt with Drain Pockets

I got several of these “drain holding type” shirts (different brands, some as gifts, and some I bought) and THIS particular brand was the best of all!!! Super soft, cool and breathable on my skin. Amazing to sleep in, but beautiful enough to wear on your outings or doctors appointments. Heck, I work mine out to eat dinner with friends. I got the grey, and black, and I’m keeping them to sleep in after this last drain comes out. So beautifully made, and attention to details. I would buy these again, and I will buy them for any friend who has to go through breast surgery and will have drains.

Very soft and stretchy. Very comfy. The biggest design flaw is the things sewn in to hold the tubes do not hold the tubes as they’re sewn into the shirt. They should have a snap like the front of the shirt. So I had to use a large safety pin to hold the tubes.

I bought two of these shirts for recovery from my mass removal. I have 2 JP drains in and although the hospital sent me home with a waist belt for the drains, I needed something that would enable gravity to help the flow of fluid. These shirts are comfortable and lightweight. I didn't feel like I was sweating to death in them. I had surgery on 10/29 and wore this shirt to and from the hospital. The nurses were excited to see such a shirt existed! The buttons snap up easily. Before surgery, I'm 5'4 and 186lbs, I don't know how much my post-op weight is just yet but I ordered a 2xl of this shirt and it fit well both before and after, because of all the padding. Definitely buy up in size if you want to be comfortable and to allow for extra space for hardware. The best purchase I've made in all the preparation for my post-op recovery. Would recommend to anyone having any breast or abdominal surgery.

I’m really disappointed in this sizing. I ordered up because I wanted the shirt to be lose, and it was, but when I came home from the hospital with drains, I realized it’s much too small to accommodate those (4) drains! So while I still wore it, I left the bottom buttons unbuttoned due to the drains. I would suggest sizing up TWO sizes. Another thing, because I had lymph dissection, I’ve got nerve pain... the hem on the sleeves are VERY rough & painful on my arm 😩 So I would take that into consideration when ordering.

The ease of putting on the shirt with the button snaps helps after the surgery. The inside pockets really do help for the drain bottles. I am 5ft and 129 lbs, I ordered Medium. Its the right size when you have 4 drain bottles attached to you. The material is very soft. I ordered the color black and after multiple washes, the color does not fade. I highly recommend this shirt. And well worth your purchase.

Drains are hell. This made it slightly less awful. Very soft material. Stitching seems sturdy. I wore it nonstop for a week, and it was breathable and comfortable the whole time.

This is such a soft, comfortable fabric and the garment is very well constructed. The drain management layout is perfect and I love everything about the shirt except it is not the size you'd expect. People undergoing mastectomy need roomy, non-clinging garments. Sadly, this doesn't describe what I received - and I ordered up from my usual size.My choices at this point are either return the shirt and do without (not practical - surgery is Tues) or try to modify the garment myself, likely with bad results.I was hoping not to complicate my preparations. Likely returning it.

I've been living in this shirt post masectomy. I think the price is reasonable. I got two shirts and rotate them and they have held up for the last month. I can speak to the loops they now have snaps on them. I even went to the hospital and because all the snaps are plastic I had my chest x-ray and CT scan in the shirt. Seriously I can not rave about this shirt enough (and i came home with 6 drains and it accommodated it) I am a 3x and the shirt is a wee bit snug but it fits and is so soft and comfortable.

J'ai pris 3xl et m'habille large ou xp normalement car je voulais aucune pression sur mes seins et surtout etre alaise avec les frais donc tissu très doux tres contente de mon achat ps cest pas que cest si chic cest que cest VRAIMENT partique

I like it but it’s too pricey
