This is a great razor!To start, it came in classy, minimalist packaging, true to Bambaw’s eco-conscious, sustainability mission. The detailed online manual (the trees thank them) recommends using a shaving cream or soap. I decided to try using a hair conditioner bar I already have. The razor glided beautifully giving a close, comfortable shave and I have one product for two purposes. Win!The razor itself is a comfortable weight that balances nicely in the hand as it glides along. The rose gold metal razor is beautiful and worthy of being on the vanity instead of hiding in a drawer like my disposables. The construction is solid and simple – 3 parts – easy to clean and change blades as needed. It's been about a week, but I have no doubt it will last for years with proper care.It does take a little mental adjusting to ‘go slow’ especially at first. It does not behave like the multi-blade disposables you may be familiar with, so it is important to pay attention early on. For me, three shaves later and no knicks, no ingrown hair evidence and the closest shaves I can remember. It really does make that much difference!
