Perfect size and easy clean up
This pan is the perfect size for our air fryer! It cleans up easily and eliminates having to use the paper inserts. It saves clean-up of the air fryer basket. I think it actually helps make foods crispier.

I love this pan
I just used this shiny pan for the first time, and I'm very happy with it. I baked cheesy au gratin potatoes in it, and it cleaned up easily afterward with no soaking. I just scrubbed it with a plastic scrubber. (I cleaned it right after supper and didn't let it get dry.) I used a nylon spoon to dip out the potatoes, because I love the shiny finish and don't want to scratch it up with metal. I think that will help it maintain the smooth finish that seems to resist stuck-on food. I thought it would be difficult to clean, because my pyrex always required soaking then scrubbing (and scrubbing and scrubbing). What I like most about this pan is that it is so lightweight compared to the baking glassware I had been using. The only weight is really whatever food is in the pan. That makes it easier on my worn-out hands and wrists that hurt when lifting. The other thing I like is that it will not shatter. After my aunt had a famous-name glassware baking dish shatter explosively on her as she lifted it out of the oven and placed it gently on a folded cup towel on the counter, I researched articles and read many people's experiences on internet forums about problems with glassware shattering spontaneously inside the oven or upon being removed from the oven. Dangerous! Glass went all over my aunt's kitchen but fortunately missed her. That was it for my glassware--out it went and I started replacing all of it with metal, starting with this pan. Happy baking!!!!

Great little pan
Excellent quality. This is a smaller pan than a 9x9. It is close to half the area of a 9x13 cake pan. I am now able to half a recipe that calls for a 9x13 pan. Thank you very much!

Stainless Steel is the way to go!
I've probably been cooking and baking for 50 years. Over the years, I've purchased many non-stick brownie pans but after a while, the coating peels off and I end up throwing the pan away. This time I opted to try the stainless steel 8x8 pan and it's definitely the way to go! With the mirror finish, clean-up was easy. I did use parchment paper on the bottom for my apricot squares but I think next time I'll just grease the pan and see how they come out. Thumbs up on this pan. This pan will outlive me!

Great pans for toaster oven/broiler
I recently purchased a toaster oven large enough to bake a 12" pizza so I was looking for pans to heat up other food like chicken or stuffed bell peppers, for instance, that I don't want to put directly on the broiler pan. If I heat something with plenty of moisture in it I feel safe using my Pyrex dishes, but for dry items I needed a container I don't have to worry about cracking in the heat. I bought the 8-inch stainless steel cake pan and the pie tin. They are both a perfect size for the oven. My first impression was that they are very sturdy and heavier than I had expected (a good thing). I've had them a couple of weeks now and am very happy with my purchase. As soon as they have cooled down I rinse them out, then put them in the dishwasher. If more stubborn food gets stuck on them, I sprinkle a little Comet on the wet pans (just as I do with my other stainless steel cooking pots and pans) and let them sit for a while. So far they still look like new. These pans are excellent value for the price.

Great little pan
I was very happy to find this reasonably priced little pan to replace some aluminum bakeware. While technically it does measure 8 inches from edge to edge, the interior opening that holds your food is really just 7 inches square. It's rather small, so if you're baking for a family, you might want to get more than one or just get something larger. This pan is fine if you're baking quickbreads or treats for one or two people, IMO, or for some kind of side dish to accompany a meal. I don't like aluminum pans due to controversies over health hazards and Alzheimer's, plus it's a pain to clean aluminum without scratching it unless you let it soak for a while. I like being able to scrub the pan with a Brillo. The other thing I really like about this pan is that it easily fits in my Cuisineart toaster oven, so I save on energy bills by avoiding having to heat up the big oven. The other other thing I would mention is that I can see that my pan is not completely square. It's a little lopsided. I believe the pan was made in China, which I'm not happy about it, so wondering about quality control issues, but it was more important to me in this case to find an affordable stainless steel plan, which this is.

It is a great small pan, with many benefits (owned two pans for a year).
From countertop, to oven, to freezer...I will never need to buy another teflon coated steel pan again! I bought two of these pans one year ago. They are of heavy gauge stainless steel. Each pan had a paper Norpro Professional label indicating this product was MADE IN INDIA. They are 8"x8" in name, but are just over 7-1/2"x7-1/2" inside at the top lip. The mirror finish has remained (except for normal scratching), and handwashed with dish soap and Bar Keeper's Freind as needed. Pros: On the countertop, I am just as likely to grab one of these stainless steels pans instead of a bowl, to hold cut veggies or meat chunks during food preparation. In the oven, these pans heat evenly. One benefit with a slightly smaller than the advertised size, is the extra thickness and finished rise using a typical box of Jiffy or Cinch cornbread. For freezer use, these pans are perfect. They slip into gallon size freezer bags. I can make a typical cottage pie (sheperd's pie)/ lasagna/ enchilada casserole in one, and freezer bag the other pan for a future dinner. You can't do this with a fragile teflon coated steel pan. Cons: The depth of these pan are 1-3/4" deep. They will not bake a deep lasagna to brag about, but are good for one or two people for everyday use.
