BETTER THAN EXPECTED
I bought these for an unconventional purpose -- to use almost as a small lap desk. I work on many small parts at once time. This big clipboard is ever better than expected. I can clip some paper on, which I often use to test ink or marker colors, and still have lots of room to line up a group of the little pieces I'm working on -- and I can have these on each workbench so I can move from project to project. The little tab in that extends from the metal clip will allow me to hang the clipboard from a peg if needed. Perfect!!!

A must have for engineering site visits with 11x17 (B) prints
I am a consulting engineer, so I do a lot of site visits with "portable" 11x17 (B) copies of CAD documents. I used to just use a piece of cardboard, but now I have a clipboard and look slightly less amateur. I even put the company logo on one; looks legit.I've beaten mine up pretty bad, figuring I have 4 so who cares if I destroy one. Been about a year and it's still AOK. Would buy again, but doubt I'll need to unless I lose them or coworkers steal them.
