Great feature
Blends in with the ceiling without sticking out. Super quiet, can't even hear it's on.

Excellent Inexpensive Fan
Most ventilation fans of this type are so overpriced that it's embarrassing just to comparison shop. If you pay a hundred bucks or more for a bathroom fan, it'd better sprinkle pixie dust through the room, or something. This fan works well and is surprisingly quiet, although the bearings are oddly loud. Still quiet overall, but with more mechanical noise than I expected and less fan (air turbulence) sound. Fine, though. Draft is good. The instructions are so-so, but maybe a third of the time you get decent instructions with anything, so I guess that's just how it is. Don't do wiring yourself if you're not confident about it. This fan wants to be mounted in a particular way that's convenient to new construction and probably half of 'old construction' (ie, adding it to an old bathroom ceiling or replacing an old fan), and it really doesn't want to be turned sideways so the grille is on a wall, or so on. It has push-in electrical connectors that are more trouble than they're worth; if there's any problem and you need to disconnect the fan again, you'll have to cut the wires, which is not helpful. My fan leaked a lot of air around the removable duct connector, so I taped the edges. Otherwise, attaching the duct was no problem. The fan's mounting instructions recommend removing the fan from the housing, in some cases, but doublecheck your install because you may not be able to get at the screws to reinstall the fan after you mount the housing. That won't amuse you.For the money, this is a great modest little fan. Better than average. If you're installing it yourself and have DIY experience, it won't cause you a lot of trouble. For new construction, it should be a snap.

Exceptional for the price
Easiest thing in the world to install... Assuming the mounts are on the correct side. I had to get a little creative and drill 2 holes on the opposite side since there was no way to attach the exhaust the other way (wish it had mounts on both sides!). But that aside, had it wired up in about a minute, had it screwed to the beam and running in 2 more. Tested it by letting my water run full heat in the shower and closed the door for about 5 minutes.. this little thing does its job without hesitation. A little louder than I was expecting but it's also in a very small bathroom, also it does specifically state the noise level in the description but I have no idea how those terms calculate over into the real world so I'm not docking a star for that. The cover is a little flimsy but at least the springs attach to metal instead of plastic(very common point of failure in another brand). For less $$ than the competition and very decent ability to do its job.. great little fan, highly recommend.

Quit working after almost 3 years
I really liked this vent because it was so quiet. But it hasn't even been 3 years since I installed it and it's already stopped working.

Good fan but was wired wrong so fan blew wrong direction - shouldn't happen with 115volt
I bought a 110 and 80 CFM of the same fan. The 80 was fine, no issues. The 110 wasn't working well and I couldn't figure out why. I had a professional install both. The 110 was wired wrong!! There is only one way it can be installed and it was blow OUT not pulling air in! My installer came back out and said that can happen with 120 volt but not a 115 volt fan like this one. Thank goodness he was able to just rewire for me since I was outside the return window since I had purchased these during a home remodel and hadn't installed for several weeks after receiving. I am not impressed with the brand, I would only purchase Braun from now on.

Works great!
We had to replace an old vent in our restroom. It was a very messy job, no fault or relevance to this product of course. But after getting through our own hurdles, this snapped in quite easily. Looks beautiful, quiet, and powerful. We use to have a lot of dust but since replacing our old vent with this one, the presence of dust has dramatically decreased. Well made and so far no functionality issues.
