They are good for back-yard practice but split easily.
I like the fact that you can play safely in the backyard. They can fly 45 yards. Unfortunately, they start splitting after 30 - 40 hard knocks. Once they split, they are useless as they do not fly more than 20 yards and give a sickening sound on striking. Two years ago, this product used to withstand more than 60 hard knocks, but it seems to have become a bit more fragile. Not withstanding this 'problem', overall it is definitely worth swinging on to a birdie ball in your backgarden; gives me more satisfaction than swinging into a net. None compares to a practice session on the Driving range preferably with SkyTrak to record your swings.

These are fun to use. They let off a buzz or whistle and travel about 30 m when they are hit solidly. I am a true beginner and these have been great. The immediate feedback from a solid hit is appreciated.

I recently purchased the BirdieBall Practice Golf Balls for my husband, an avid golfer who constantly seeks ways to improve his game. These practice balls have proven to be an excellent addition to his golf training arsenal, especially for practicing in our yard. These practice balls are designed to simulate the feel and flight of real golf balls while offering the convenience of limited flight. This makes them perfect for backyard practice sessions without the worry of them flying too far or causing damage. One of the standout features is their ability to mimic the spin and trajectory of real golf balls. This allows my husband to work on his full swing mechanics, ball striking, and accuracy, all from the comfort of our yard. It's a great way to refine his technique without going to the driving range whenever he wants to practice. Another notable advantage is their versatility. Whether he's practicing with irons, wedges, or drivers, these practice balls perform admirably across the board. They provide consistent flight patterns and are forgiving enough to help him focus on improving his skills rather than retrieving errant shots. I am very pleased with the BirdieBall Practice Golf Balls; more importantly, my husband is too. These are worth considering if you're looking for effective practice balls that offer a realistic feel and flight.

Amazing product. Gives good feedback on your swing. Can use in my front yard (200') with all of my irons. I practice daily, what a difference it made on my game. Was able to go from low 90's down to breaking 80 consistently, all due to being able to practice every day. Highly recommend.

Well, it's not a real golf ball and they are a bit expensive. Nevertheless, hitting them is more pleasant and realistic than wiffle balls. Has a more solid feel and flight seems to reflect the contact well. They do go some distance though, so watch out for your neighbours windows. I admire the ingenuity -- real thinking outside the box. I'd give a star just for that! I recommend them if you like to chip around your property. Well-made material-wise and they seem to be able to take a beating. You can use them for napkin rings if you are running short at a dinner party.
