Dead simple!
Very easy to set up and does exactly what I need it to. It was never going to be super high quality, but it's very cheap! I just needed a basic amp for a proof of concept, and this saved me making my own.

Check the circuit board.
I've used the TDA 2822m before with reasonable results, however this only worked on one channel and that was distorted, initially I thought it was one of the ceramic capacitors was faulty, however on further investigation I found that there was a connection between the circuit board traces, a scratched through ( I apologise for my bad workmanship, however I was rather frustrated at the time... ). It now works fine, It will driver 4 ohm speakers if powered by 6 volts, but only at low volumes, it will also drive headphones well.

Small Size
Very good amplifier for such a small size unit.

I doubt it gives more than 300mW.
Well made, but gives very little output power. The description seemed to to indicate 5 Watts output.I believe it is less than 0.5 Watts. Ok for earphones, but not speakers in my opinion. Sound quality is ok.

Exploding caps
Used 9v dc on it as it can take 12 volts I should have knows as it had a smell before I even plugged it in . Won’t be buying this again any time soon
