I love led umbrellas. This looks like a quality one. The lights are very bright. The umbrella is a good size . Like others have said. The flashlight in the handle sometimes comes on without touching it

I do hate leaving negative reviews but sometimes you really have no choice. This umbrella is just bad.First, there is no clear way to turn off the bottom LED, it just shut off on its own after a while. It also has an array of three LEDs for the shaft in red, green, and blue. To make "white" it just turns them all on at once, so it isn't a "true white." To even get to that you have to click the on button seven times to cycle through all the colors which is very annoying, it should have been the first option, not the last. That said it'll probably last longer if you stick to one of the primary colors as it will just use one LED instead of two or all three.The included instructions only show how to install the batteries and don't explain anything about the operation of the device.There is also no way to lock the umbrella into an open position, so it's possible an extremely heavy rain might close it on you. They could have at least included a ring that tightens around the shaft or something like that, or even a notch cut into the top of it and you could hit a button to release it.I will say that the included carry bag is neat. I mean it's not a great bag but at least they thought to include one.I really wanted to like this, but as it turns out I will have to send it back and keep looking for a better one. This just seems like a cheap moneygrab. They wanted me to rate it's giftability? If I don't even want it why would I give it to someone I actually like?

I was wanting a light up umbrella for nighttime as I love walking at night. I found this umbrella after quite a bit of research and loved the design and that it had multiple colors and with it having a flashlight in the bottom of it I thought it would be perfect. I love the multicolor light up function of the umbrella. The colors are pretty and bright and the umbrella also held up well when I was walking outside when it was very windy. The reason for the four stars is the mentioned flashlight in the bottom of the umbrella. It is EXTREMELY sensitive to the point where it has actually annoyed me. If I pick the umbrella up it will turn on. If water lands on the touch activated part of the light it will turn on. Anything sets this light off and it will lead to the batteries being drained quicker. If they could update the design so instead of touch activated it was also controlled with a button the same way the other lights are controlled that would be so much better. So, with all that being said when the light at the bottom is working with me instead of against me I love this umbrella and have even had people say the like it as well. So I would recommend it just be aware that the light on the bottom is going to be a little touchy.

Very cool umbrella! I've been looking for a Blade Runner style umbrella that had a light up handle and wondered why this hadn't been made before!! Was so excited to buy this and try it out. The umbrella itself is well made, opens very easily (manual) and also comes with a pouch to hold it when not in use.The umbrella illuminates well but is really only visible at night when it is dark. During the twilight / dusk, it's hard to see, but in dark settings works well. My only gripe is that you have to cycle through all the colors / modes in order to turn it off or get the color you want. They should have designed it so that a long press of the switch turns it on and off and configure it so that it remember the last color / mode it was on. Of the (7) options, I preferred blue and it was embarrassing to have to go through pink, purple, green, etc every time in public settings.The handle of the umbrella features two switches:- BOTTOM Switch controls an LED light that points downwards but requires 3 x AAA batteries (not included).- SIDE Switch cycles through (7) light modes that illuminate the acrylic 'shaft' or clear part of the umbrella.I really wanted a white light option like the movie but unfortunately, the 'white' mode is all the colors on at the same time, which produces a rainbow-like effect rather than a bright white light. They should have put the downwards-facing white LED as an 8th mode option..An umbrella 'hilt' is included that allows you to wear it across your back or over the shoulder, but I found it to be cumbersome as it tended to lean sideways or backwards (depending on how you were wearing it) due to the weight of the umbrella, often bumping into people especially in crowded areas unless the strap was held in place. They should make it a 3-point sling type pouch so that it can be worn more securely in a vertical fashion.Overall, it's a well built umbrella with adequate lighting for evening use. I hope Bestkee's next version works out all the bugs and is even better!

Growing up I never carried an umbrella because when I tried they were either so uncomfortable to hold or they blew inside-out. I was one of those ladies who would prefer to rock a frizzy hairdo in the rain than carry an unnecessary umbrella fearing it might rain. That is until now. Let's be honest here as we get older many of us don't want to draw attention by carrying bright or super loud patterned ones and I am one of those types of people - but - this was the exception! I use this one with pride and the looks I get nodding in agreement at how awesome this umbrella is, made me so sure that this was the right addition into our Star War's loving lifestyle.The umbrella itself is big so this isn't going to suit children. Just take a look at this fully popped out sitting in my hallway, this takes up the whole width. If you like to be hands-free you'll also see the cover that pops over the closed umbrella and has a carrying strap, this is definitely a bonus because it makes it so much easier to take this along with you when going out.So, to use you simply pull off the carrying strap cover. You unstick the velcro closure and once the umbrella is loosened you simply push up the black plastic section on the inside of the umbrella to pop it up when it rains and similarly you pull it down to close. There are no scary metal catch latches to nip your fingers on.To create the magic you push the circle button on the handle (pictured) and instantly you will see the central handle light up blue when it's dark and more white-blue in the daylight. This is an excellent addition if you like to walk the dog during Winter or the darker months. To switch it off again you just push the button again and it goes back to a standard non-illuminated umbrella.I have tried this in direct Scottish wind and it remained firm and didn't blow out. I've also had this out in lashing rain and the lightsaber handle and the material held strong and didn't leak into my face. I've not tried this in sun (someone in the comments asked) and while I believe it would be a good sun umbrella, the dark material may not be such a good choice as it will make the user feel hotter than normal.Overall you need this in your lives. Even if you never use it, you can fight your friends with your cool lightsabers while still looking like you can adult.Disclaimer: I was offered a discount on this product. Für jeden Star Wars-Fan ein tolles Geschenk! Hab den Regenschirm meinem Bruder zum 40. Geburtstag geschenkt und ihn hat's fast umgehauen, so hat er sich gefreut und es war ein Mega-Gag! Wir haben Tränen gelacht.Was mir am meisten gefällt, ist die Form des geöffneten Schirms, da er gewölbter ist als viele andere und man dadurch besser vor Regen geschützt ist.Die Tasche zur Aufbewahrung find ich auch super, schnell rausziehen - a lá Lichtschwert - kann man ihn zwar nicht, dafür ist die Tasche zu leicht, aber er ist immer aufgeräumt und man braucht ihn nicht in der Hand zu tragen.Die LED-Farben sind auch super, vor allem, dass die Spitze oben auch noch rausleuchtet.Die Taschenlampe unten am Griff ist superhell, man sieht sehr viel, wenn man vor sich hinleuchtet. Bestimmt auch zur Abwehr gegen eventuelle Angreifer tauglich, da die Taschenlampe furchtbar blendent, wenn sie auf einen gerichtet wird.Echt ein toller Regenschirm, auch wenn ich kein Star Wars-Fan bin, werde ich ihn mir wahrscheinlich noch zulegen ;O)

Normalerweise brauchte ich noch nie einen Regenschirm, Kaputze auf und durch.Aber mit dem Ding hier wollte ich sogar fast wieder in eines dieser Hollywood Kinos um Roque One zu gucken. Sonst nur Spartenkinos und jetzt sowas, ein neues Lebensgefühl und all das nur wegen diesen tollen LED's.Aber nun mal ernsthaft:-Cooles Teil, viele verschiedene Farben möglich und auch noch eine Art Regenbogen Effekt-Taschenlampe am Ende des KnaufsQualität so lala, wirkt ein bischen nach sehr dünnem Plastik und einem richtigen Sturm würde er wohl nicht standhalten.Leider auch keine Batterien dabei, das ist aber zu verkraften.

Great product, I got this for my dad for fathers day and he loved it. It was a bit fiddly in trying to put the batteries in and how to get the bottom back on but after a bit we got the hang of it and is a perfectly practical and fun present and product.
