** Updated**I have to say that though I've now had 2 cases where the power jack broke after 1-2 months of use - their customer service has been nothing but great. They definitely honor their 1 year warranty, and are replacing the case again for free. Let's ope third time is a charm. Maybe they've fixed the design flaw now? *fingers crossed*I really love everything about this case; except the power jack.** Original Review **I've now had two of these cases. it works really well, with one exception: it'll be useless in a period of 1-3 months when the internal micro-USB jack breaks off inside thecase and it'll become a brick and useless to charge.I purchased this in April 2013, and by June, the first case had the internal jack break off inside the case. I figured maybe it was just a defective unit, so I wrote the company and they replaced it free of charge. Now, 2 months later, the second replacement case had the power jack break off inside the phone, just like the first one. I now realize this is a design flaw with the case and not just one defective case. I guess it's time to switch to a different manufacturer of case. Great idea, nice design, but one design flaw will make it useless in a short period.

I bought this case because I was so tired of my two boys draining my battery on my phone then leaving me with 1% or less! The case seems very sturdy and went on my phone easily. They give you a cord to charge it up, and it's easy to turn on and off... The only thing I did not like about this case was the fact that it was very hard to get my phone out. I don't know if the one I received was just really tight but it was nearly impossible! Sadly, I returned it because it was just too much of a hassle to get it off. I would still recommend it though for someone who won't need to take it off and on. I might purchase it again just to see if it was a defected case. Overall, I liked it though for its sturdiness and quick charge!

First thing, don't waste you time with trying to contact the manufacturer to see if there is something that you can do to reconfigure or fix this device if it stops working...return it right away. I paid an expensive lesson trying to troubleshoot a problem that is probably just a bad unit. After waiting 3 weeks to attempt a return after it stopped working, I can no longer return the device through Amazon.The case seems rugged enough, fits nicely on the iPhone 5, and converts the lightning connector to a standard micro USB connector (saves money on cords). It worked great for 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. Then the battery just failed, and will not even act as a pass through mechanism to recharge just the phone battery. It is too awkward to take the phone out of its case every time to recharge it, and you would lose the benefit of the lightning to USB conversion anyway.I understand that I may have gotten the 1/10,000 outcome, so please take this one rating in context. If this becomes a trend however...

First day flaws of this case is the way the slide-in bevel is a bit larger than most screen protectors and very tight. This causes the screen protector to bubble up near the edges and introduce dust and dirt underneath the protector. The top slide is also a bit bigger so that it slides out too easily, especially when taking out of your pant pockets.I have had this product for over 6 months. Around this time I have had quality issues with this case. When idle, the battery pack will not charge more than 25% of the Iphone's battery. A HUGE drop in capacity, also the case takes over 8 hours to charge fully. Also during the 6th month mark, the micro usb connection on the case became so loose that I had to fiddle with it just so that I would stay in place and charge.I think we all went through this one time or another with crappy headphone jacks that would only give sound when you hold it one way. This seem to be the modern day version of a crappy connection port.I tried contacting the company by email multiple times and i could not find a phone number.I guess the old saying is true, if the company doesn't list their phone number on their website, don't trust them.They did not respond to this day.

It seemed to be quite good for the first 4 weeks and as I am just out of the return window it is malfunctioning. I am finding it very difficult to charge the phone and the cover, it just does not charge any more, some times after playing with the connection for some time it might start to charge, but it stops after some time. I think it is an issue with the connection point, as the cord/s charges other stuff without a problem

Well made, sturdy case, black with contrasting yellow band is quite striking. The case size actually makes the phone easier to handle. Considering it promises to double the phone's battery life, the slightly increased size is a small price to pay.Unfortunately, it does not charge the iPhones's battery. Oh well, back it goes... with a uNu now on order...

I just purchase the Maxboost Air case charger and it is worse than not having an additional battery charger. In standby mode, it drained my battery from 80% charged to 70% charged in 57 minutes. I lost 10% of my charge in 57 minutes!! At least when I didn't use this cover my phone would maybe drop 1% in 57 minutes on standby. I do not recommend this product. Wish I hadn't purchased it.

This is excellent product at a great price. Keeps either my iPhone 5 charged for quite some time. You won't feel bulky because the case is very slim and in matte finishing.
