Quite impressed with the performance and battery life
I bought this impact driver as a project I was about to undertake would be much easier with two impact drivers than just the one I had. I will be comparing this driver to my DeWalt impact driver.Pros:1. Light weight, not much different with my DeWalt2. Included 1500 Mah Li-Ion battery has a surprising long battery life.3. Power was on par with my DeWalt.4. Really nice case and driver bit set.5. Included battery charger initially seemed a bit odd, but charges the battery fairly quickly. Is a compromise between a coaxial plug in jack type and the drop-in type. It slides onto the battery like you would slide into the drop-in style.6. Excellent value for the price paid.Cons:1. Extra batteries are a bit scarce. I ordered a 2000 Mah battery on sale, it has yet to ship after about a week or so.2. Compatibility of batteries across the Avid Tool platform is mixed.3. Avid does not list the power capacity (Mah) of the batteries included on several of their tools in the description or specifications.

Amazing drill for the price
While this drill may not last a lifetime, for the few projects ive used it for its worked out great. Ive drilled through 2x4s, 4x4s and concrete and it handled well. Im not sure if its normal for impact drivers but the drill does get pretty warm when you use it for many minutes consecutively with high torque. The battery seems decent. It wont last all day by far, but for small projects around the house it has worked out great. The carrying case zipper is pretty cheap and will no doubt break off if not careful, but it really doesnt matter to me. I appreciated the lights on the end of the drill and even has a usb port that you could charge something if needed.

Might be cheap but packs a punch
This was pretty much cheaper than anything else out there. I was curious about how well it held up for car repair so I jumped on it. I can tell you that this has plenty of power. The battery lasts for quite a long time, even with being stored for long periods. I feels heavy but not bulky and the grip and rubberized parts feel solid. Not as though they will fall apart. If you're in need of something cheaper, you can't go wrong with this.

Best tool purchase I think I've ever made.
This tool does exactly what it needs to do. No muss, no fuss--charge the battery and go to work. It even comes with a selection of common size/shape bits. I needed to work on a funky project that uses square-hole screws (Robertson #2), so I picked up a couple Bosch bits, and they worked just fine with this driver. Removing screws that were really stuck in place after years was absolutely no problem with it. Great tool, great buy.

Excellent for the Money! Battery could be better...
Our group volunteers for a non-profit building wheelchair ramps. I bought this on Prime Day and tried it out this weekend. Overall, it seems to be well made. The first thing I noticed was that the battery was very light. That being said, battery life could be a problem. I had one of our lead carpenters use it first. The charge lasted 1.5 hours with nearly constant use. He probably put in 500 screws on the first charge. It had good torque for driving 3" deck screws. Recharge took about about an hour. For the price, it is a very good deal. With the battery being light, it made this gun easy to use and easy on the user. At $40-$50, this is a good buy!

Big help
This thing has really been a time saver. I've used it to drive screws while putting up pickets on my fence, anchoring gate hardware and taking the covers off my air conditioner and it works very well. It comes in a nice little case and bits and sockets. I'm very pleased that I took a chance and bought this .

Good for what it is
Functions fine, is just very, very underpowered for an impact wrench. I’d actually say useless in that regard. Decent power drill though, I suppose. Quality was fine.
