To love like this!
To accompany David on his journey, has been a deep experience of a father’s love, threading its way through hope, terror, despair, and spiritual awakening, as he simply cannot give up on his beautiful boy Nic. I’m yet to read a more poignant love story!

A truly devastating piece with an important message
When you read stories of drug addicts/addiction, it's usually from the perspective of the victim. This particular memoir is based on a family, whose son struggles with drug addiction, written from the perspective of the father. It highlights the struggles a family goes through when a member of the family falls victim to substance abuse. This is a true-story memoir and the father/author, David Sheff, portrays his emotions through beautifully constructed words. It is a heartbreaking memoir and I highly recommend this to everyone. This is a must-read!

Font too small
The book has small fonts. It's strain to the eyes. Otherwise the book is good.

I only bought this for the movie, but honestly fell in love with the book itself, would definitely help people going through such problems.
