All Natural Bar Soap for Men with Zero Grit, Gold Moss

Love this soap smells good and cleans good.a little pricy but I think it is worth it.

Mmmm. Thats first of all. The first thing that will come out of your mouth after using this product will be "Mmmm that smells damn good." As far as the feel, its the first actual soap I have used in a while, so at first you get hit with this almost uncomfortable dry feeling that accompanies soap, this is just the soap drawing out oils and cleaning your skin. Once that is down you will notice that your skin is noticeably smoother and moisturized even through the day. Since its all natural ingredients I have been using it directly on my face as well since I don't use acne product and just need a little cleansing at the end of my long day chopping logs in my backyard, building houses, and going for 11 hour hikes into the Connecticut wilderness. I use this soap with an exfoliator on my arms and it reduced my arm acne from dry skin tremendously, I can now wear short sleeves shirts with confidence. I mean I always have, but now I'm not only conifedent that my arms are self af as I always have been, but I'm confident that the soap I use smells great, feels great, and has all natural ingredients. Your products are the soap equivalent of being kissed by mother nature every morning. On relaxation days I will shower twice just to use your soap and smell the aromas fill the shower as I lather! Great smell, great feel, and pups recommend

Honest review of my first Dr. Sasquatch soap purchase. I purchased a bar of Gold Moss about a month ago. At first I didn’t care for the scent. The scent is hard to describe but it kind of smells like an old hippy. After a few washes however, the scent grew on me and I now enjoy it. The soap lathers well and seems to be a quality product. I like the brand and the advertising. I really want to love this product but... like many others have complained, the bar is pretty small for ten dollars. I have taken about ten showers with it and it is starting to get pretty small. I doubt I’ll get ten more showers of it. I even use a really well draining soap dish and store it on the top shelf of the shower to keep it dry. I might try a couple other scents just for fun but for ten dollars they need to make a larger bar before I’ll be a recurring customer. There are just too many other great competitors selling quality bars that are larger and cost less.

It seems that all the scents have a single review. I want to review the Gold Moss and Pine Tar scents independently. I purchased the Pine Tar scent directly from Dr. Squatch. It is excellent in smell and the scouring power. The scour may be a little too much but I'm a man so I can take it. Five stars, it's exactly what it says and exceeded my expectations. 6/5 I purchased the Gold Moss scent via Amazon. I'm not so hip on this one. It works well as a soap but the scent is a little too musky / Old Spice-y. I would not purchase it again. It said it's a scrub bar but I get zero sense of any grit in the soap. 2/5 I have a third scent in my bathroom cupboard awaiting my use; I will probably ditch the Gold Moss and move on to it shortly and will update my review when I have a sense.

This soap is my first purchase from dr squatch. I love the way the soap feels and performs but just dont know about the smell. I've gotten compliments on the scent but I can't quite place what it smells like or anything i could compare the scent to. If I were back on Amazon having to choose a soap with the knowledge I have now I would purchase a soap from Dr squatch but not the gold moss variant. The smell is good but this scent is just not great, it is very forgettable. The soap itself is great though.

The quality of this expensive soap seems high, if you can believe what’s on the label. Unfortunately, sometimes you can’t. I purchased 19 bars of Dr. Squatch soap from various official sources (subscription, regular purchase, and Amazon). The bars were in various formulations and ALL 19 bars were significantly UNDER weight! The label on each Dr. Squatch bar says 5 OZ., but ALL bars weighed between 4.12 ounces and 4.66 ounces. In grams, that’s an advertised weight of 142, but actual weights of only 119-132. In other words, best case, you’re getting 7% less than what’s on the label, and worst case it’s about 16% less. If you buy Dr. Squatch soap, I encourage you to weigh it yourself, because I was shocked at the consistency of this condition. Other anomalies... Cool Fresh Aloe does NOT list aloe as an ingredient. And some Dr. Squatch soap varieties are scented only with something listed mysteriously as “fragrance”. These soaps include Gold Moss Scrub, Cool Fresh Aloe, and Bay Rum. So is this good soap? From a functional point of view, the answer is “Yes, probably.” It lathers well, moisturizes with the addition of shea butter (if you can believe the label) and has some interesting scents. Is it worth nearly $10 per bar on Amazon ($7 via the website and $6 via subscription)? That’s a personal choice, but you can get vegan soaps with comparable fragrances, such as Crate 61, for about one-third the price. By the way, I weighed Crate 61 bars as a comparison. They were all slightly OVER weight. About the fragrances... preferences are highly subjective, but here are my impressions. Gold Moss Scrub smells like a men’s cologne from the mid 1970s. Ditto Bay Rum, but slightly heavier. Crisp IPA does NOT smell like beer, but has more of a strong orange-citrus aroma. Cool Fresh Aloe has a floral fresh smell that’s reminds me of laundry detergent. Spearmint smells like you’re washing with chewing gum, seriously. The rest of the bars smell like their essential oils (eucalyptus smells like eucalyptus, sage smells like sage, and so forth). It feels like normal soap to me. It does have a nice smell to it. I don't know donot feel any different from a normal soap. Feels like it is a little over priced.

Bought as a gift for my buddy and he loves it, had to keep my boy fresh! Quality soap but does wear out quick for the price.

I used this soap because it was recommended to me. It smells GREAT but really dried out my skin.

My husband has psoriasis and dry skin. After first use he never went back to a different soap.it helps clear his psoriasis right up and is great for sensitive skin.
