Larger, Performs Better, High-End

Nice well balanced top that spins forever. The glass base is also great.

I have never had a good top like this so I can't compare it. Its not a whole lot of fun, but it is fun to try and get longer spin times. It is easy to spin even for me and I have bigger hands. After alittle practice I get about 12-13 min spins. The glass you can buy and the one you get with it definitely help with spin times and control. They are pretty close to the same thing, I'm pretty sure its the free one that is kinda thin and has a rubber ring around it, but the other is alot thicker and has a high polish. My only gripe is the 2 tone top I got is 2 pieces that fit together really good, but my 1st one started coming apart when I'd spin it if I didn't keep squeezing it together. I reached out and they sent me another that isn't coming apart like the first. The piece is small so it could be a choke hazard. I would get a one piece/ tone option if I did it again.

Simply put, and speaking as an avid collector of spin tops, this is a really great top for the money! It is well-designed, with most of its mass in the brass collar, positioned close to the spin surface and distributed to the outside... or “down and out” as top collectors say. That creates a low center of gravity which enhances the top’s stability. Knurling on the stem allows for a high-torque rip to develop high RPMs at launch. These features, and the high quality and close tolerances of the build produces a terrific looking, high performance spinning top... launches easily, settles quickly, and spins smoothly ‘til the end, falling over at low RPM as if it had been shot. My personal best currently stands at 14:41, which many tops costing three or four times as much *never* achieve. At $55, this is an “entry level” top, but it performs far better than just an entry level top. Plus, in the box with the top was a 100mm double-sided, concave glass lens, perfect for spinning. For all these reasons, I can highly recommend this top, as your first top or to add to your existing collection. TAD

I have dozens of tops of all different qualities and this is the one I reach for the most. This top is an incredible piece of craftsmanship that is built to last. The construction is very durable and it is precision made to ensure a perfectly balanced spin. I have been using this top for a while now and it has held up incredibly well. It also goes on and on, providing a mesmerizing display that is smooth and consistent. I love that this top is a great value for the quality you get. It is truly a showpiece that will impress anyone who sees it. Overall, I highly recommend the DjuiinoStar High-Performance Spinning Top to anyone who loves unique and high-quality items. Great spinner! Make a great gift.

It was delivered promptly during the Christmas shopping season. Top + spinning base. It is a quality top. If you are willing to spend $60 for a top to spin 10-15 minutes, vs $25 for a top that will spin 5 minutes, then you will be pleased. The design takes some getting used to. The main body is quite low to the ground. This is necessary to achieve a low center of gravity and the longest spin times. However, this requires a person to use correct technique. You can't just take it out of the box and spin it with all your energy on the first attempt. The sides will drag on the tabletop or whatever spinning surface you're using. With a controlled effort, sacrificing RPMs for a vertical spin, the top will spin 10+ minutes almost every try. I have gotten up to 15 minute spins regularly ( just using a digital clock, not a stopwatch ). It seems that I reach a point of diminishing returns, where more forceful spins only add a little more to the spin time. This is certainly partly due to my lack of expertise. Still, I expect that in the world of high-end expensive spinning tops, "you get what you pay for." Manufacturing tolerances and material used become extremely important. Unless I can perfect my launching technique, I I'll be satisfied to not pursue a more expensive design. ;-)

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Fun desktop toy. Does spin for a long period. Highly recommend

I am very new to the top game. My form isn't great. That's to say sometimes the top comes slammin down onto the base when launching instead of the ideal gentle landing. The glass is chipping a bit. Not sure what "kind" of glass this is, but either way the spinning tops present a very harsh environment. Carbide / ruby tips on these tops will chip away at your base, which is happening to mine

I have bought quite a few finger spinning tops and this one is in a class of it's own - vastly superior to all others. Spun it for ten and a half minutes on my third attempt. Don't worry about other brands - just get one of these. You'll be very glad you did.
