How do you burn this and where do you place it?

I use it to cleanse my house. I light it and walk around making sure it goes into every coroner and dark place. I chant something like”I am cleansing this house of all lower energies and negativity, this house is filled with love and white light” it smells beautiful and burns well.

Are these organic though? Not much point 'cleansing' if they release pesticides and chemicals into the air...?
