Thank you Polar Tech and Amazon for making these insulated shipping boxes available! I have used them at least eight times to ship food across the state to my student. They are expensive to ship when filled, but I have learned a few things about shipping. However, now they are no longer carrying the boxes I have come accustomed to using, and they are not selling two count boxes for one price, but singular boxes for a higher price. Supply and demand is at work here, so I had to order what was available. Please notice the price increases when purchasing these boxes. I find them to be super sturdy, able to arrive in tact each time, and able to keep the food cold when the R-Brix blocks are included. Please bring back the Polar Tech 227C, 15.5"L x 13.75"W x 10.5" H, 2 count. They are well worth it!

Great for shipping a frozen placenta to encapsulate for a client

I purchased this cooler for shipping frozen fish as checked in luggage on a flight. It worked very well and was reasonably priced. Packed the cooler with an ice pack and put it inside the box and checked it in.

Great product! I shipped a package containing frozen food from New Jersey to my sister in Illinois via truck. I was nervous the food would thaw during transit since the weather that week was around 50 degrees. To my surprise, the package arrived in perfect condition and the food was still completely frozen. A great, sturdy cooler—highly recommended! I didn’t add dry ice as other reviewers .

Checked this box filled to capacity with frozen food on two short (2 1/2 hours) flights. Box held up fairly well and food remained well frozen. A little pricey for a Styrofoam cooler and a box.

I recently traveled from Detroit to LA and needed to transport enough frozen breast milk (enough for 10 days) for my 18 month old. I was able to tightly fit about 305 oz of breastmilk in this cooler along with maybe 2-3 freezer ice/gel packs. I took this box with me and checked it in for my flight on Delta and had it come along as a "check in bag" to LA, as this option was MUCH cheaper than FedEx shipping. I was nervous about the long travel day as I did not want the milk to begin to thaw out. In total our travel time from our home to our final destination was around 16 or 17hours. We had the box in our rental car on a 70 degree day for about 6 hours of that total 16 hours. When we arrived to our destination the milk was completely frozen. It did not thaw out one bit!! One thing I would like to note is that the only down side is that this box does not have handles so it was rough to hold it and walk around the airport along with our several bags, car seat, stroller and other baby supplies. If the outer box had handles I'd say it's a perfect product! I assume there are no handles on the box due to temperature regulation of the cooler? Otherwise this was a great product and did the job for me!

Worked well to ship meat that needed to stay cold!

I have bought this box twice before but this time it came and had been used. It also came without another box covering it so all of the shipping labels it needed to get to me was on the shipping box I needed to put my own label on. Also when I opened it there was another insulated box inside. I tried to see if I had purchased a used box by accident but there was no indication of this.
