Sweese 10 Inch Porcelain Dinner Plates, White, Set of 6 - Microwave, Oven, Dishwasher Safe, Scratch-Resistant

We have two cats, and we feed them canned, wet food twice a day. We use these dessert plates for their wet food. We tried lots of other feeding dishes, and these plates are a great solution--much better than the usual plastic or stainless steel pet-feeding dishes. They are flat, and they're heavy. So the kitties can't push them around the floor as their little tongues rasp the plates. They're a breeze to wash, too. Because they're white, you can easily see and remove bits of dried-on food. Their flat design keeps the kitties from getting whisker fatigue, and they tend to a larger percentage of their expensive wet food than before we had these, because the food doesn't cake into the corners of their old, deep dishes. The slightly raised edges of these dessert plates are just enough to help the kitties get the food into their mouths, though they do sometimes allow small bits of food to get on the floor. That's a minor inconvenience, though, considering how easy these are to clean. These plates are very durable, too. We've had them for a year use them every day. We managed to chip one when we kicked it into the leg of a metal stand, but it didn't shatter into a million pieces. There was just one chip, it isn't sharp, and the kitties are still using it. I recommend these plates, whether you're serving dessert for humans or meals for kitties. :-)

I started buying Sweese in 2019 (the stacking coffee mugs to deal with limited cupboard space - perfect) and immediately appreciated the quality: great packaging (really - not a single damaged item in ten orders), sturdy (not too thin, not too heavy), comfortable handle shape/size, and clean elegant white. So I started looking at their other items. When my beloved french plates with lipped edge became too chipped, I bought the 7.4" white salad plates - perfect (I love lip-edged plates). Then I got the 22 oz. stackable salad pasta bowls (the best!). Then the 22 oz. jumbo coffee mug (love - soup, cereal, coffee - bought two sets because everyone wanted to use mine!). And I just grabbed the 10" dinner plates, which have been on my "list" for ages and they finally went on sale. I prefer all-white dinnerware, so I can "decorate" the table to fit any occasion and over the years I've tried several other brands. Most have been returned but some I've kept and used, but they're simply not as good: either they're too thin, or an odd off-white color, or the cup handles are too small or oddly balanced. For me, this brand is the best: I use them every day and they are excellent products. And those lovely lipped plates? Not a chip in sight.

Meals look beautiful plated, durable, easy to clean, nice weight but not too heavy, stack well. In short, we LOVE!! Purchased the dessert plates, 22 oz. Pasta bowls and the coffee/tea cup set thats wider at bottom than top. They pair perfectly with this dish set. To find them, go to the Sweese store on Amazon to see their full collection. Not only are they stylish and classy, they hold more than appears and just short enough to fit under my espresso machine ❤️ After ordering 3 other company's dish sets off Amazon, (which either came broke, wobbled, had imperfections or didn't stack well, etc) I should have ordered these first and could have been loving our new dishes sooner. Rims are pronounced just enough to hold sauses, gravey, or pasta dishes such as meat meatballs and spaghetti which keep the meal on the plate. Color is not a brilliant white, rather a beautiful snow white color (which I was hoping for!) Yay! It's the perfect soft white color to go in any kitchen. We absolutely love these beautiful dishes! Beautiful, soothing, and unique colors. We just received this set and so far, they seem to be high quality and durable. *2026 Update: We have had these plates for over five years now. We use them regularly. They have proven to be long-lasting and durable. The colors are attractive and have held up well over the years. During parties, they add some color but are neutral enough to not clash with other dishware. These plates are a great size for hors d’oeuvres and desserts. The plate rims are an especially useful touch. When guests use these plates while standing, the food does not slide off the plate. No more runaway fruits and veggies! We also like that the porcelain is microwave and dishwasher safe. Overall, we continue to be very pleased with this Sweese plates.

This plates are great for a small meal or snack. Quality seems to be good we have had them for several months now and no chips or breakage.

These are good quality, heavy, clean very easily, and stack very well. Food looks amazing in these plates - it has enough of a lip to them that you aren't worried at all about food falling/leaking over it. They do however easily chip on the raised lip area. Overall the quality vs price is nice.
