What is the life of the sony rechargeable battery bp-hp800??

My husband has been recharging the one in his headphones for 18 months, and he uses them everyday for 6-8 hours. We haven’t had to replace it yet. I don’t know what the “life” of the battery will be. But daily recharging for 500+ days is pretty darn good!
