A good purchase
I purchased two of these brushes to use with AS waxes. This was my first time dabbling into AS chalk paint and waxes, so I didn't want to go crazy price wise on brushes, just in case I hated it. These worked great. They felt very similar in softness and density to the AS brushes I tried at the store, but these are not as pretty. I noticed each brush lost only one or two bristles, but in reality, maybe I broke them off since I am not light handed. I think they got the handle size and shape pretty spot on too, as I found them comfortable to hold. Cleaned up easy with cooking oil to dissolve the wax, followed by a wash with soap and water. Hmmmm..... what can I chalk paint next?

Not worth buying.
This item was as described visually, but performed terribly. I beat & pulled on the bristles before I started, I painted chalk paint over an antique mirror & many Youtube videos suggested that so you don't lose bristles while you are painting. Very few came out so I started. I saw quite a few bristles stuck in my paint & picked them out when the paint was wet. The ones I didn't see & had to use a sewing needle & tweezers to get out when it dried took me 2 hours & left noticeable lines on my product. Even when I waxed the finish they still showed. I would recommend buying the one made by the lady who does the tutorials on Youtube, look it up to see.

Gets the job done...
This brush is ok, nothing fancy. Bought it as an cheaper alternative to the Annie Sloan round brush. Used it for chalk paint project so it didn't have to be perfect but a lot of the brush hairs kept coming out so that was definitely annoying. Got the job done and ok for the price but might need to spring for the nicer brush depending on your project and result expectations.

Brush me
Was suckered to get 2 because there was a sale going on. The brush does lose hair or falls into the paint. Fairly decent brush. You pay for what you get.

Fabulous brush!!!
If you're painting furniture (particularly if you're painting upholstered pieces) this is the brush you need. As an artist, I honestly thought one (or more) of the brushes already in my studio would be fine when I decided to chalk paint my dining room chairs...but they weren't. Didn't hold enough paint, for one, and didn't maintain enough stiffness to drive the paint into the fabric. I gave up and ordered this brush -- and it's exactly the right tool for the job. You can really load it with paint, yet it maintains enough bristle integrity for you to drive the paint into the fabric, creases, pleats and all. Given how much paint I had on it, and how long it took to do all the dining room chairs, I assumed it would be a bear to clean, but it wasn't! I used Palmolive Pure & Clear dish soap as a first rinse, and then my standard brush conditioner. It looks like new and I can't wait to use it again!

Sheds bristles like crazy
I bought this brush to apply wax to painted furniture. I like the feel of the brush in my hand but the shedding bristles were a problem. I had to keep picking bristles out of the wax. I was hoping the shedding would lessen the more I used the brush but it didn't. I will be buying a different brush before I wax the next piece. I see where another reviewer had the same problem.

works great for chalk painting
No streaks, works great for chalk painting, it is easy to hold. High quality material. Does not shed bristles either like some other brushes I have used in the past. I used this to chalk paint some furniture , and also used to paint a chicken coop with.

Pass..
The brush looks good and was exactly what I wanted. I had read other reviews saying that the brush shed terribly, and some other people said it was amazing. So I decided to roll the dice. I got one of the brushes that sheds terribly. Its unusable really it wont stop and ruins projects picking the hairs out nonstop. Pretty big disappointment.
