Been using this on my boat teak for 40 yrs. great stuff. Wish it wasn’t so expensive.

This product is designed to work with Deks Olje 1 which works as a solvent for 2.So first buy and apply 1, let it soak in and give a good base.Second apply 2, it has the consistency of honey, it will dry glossy and water-proof.Third, once 2 has been in use, if it gets scratched up or otherwise weathered, apply 1 to act as a solvent and it will "heal" any scratches or weathering on your wood. The surface will look like new.I have used this stuff for more than 30 years and strongly recommend it.

Can't beat the quality but expensive. Guess you get what you pay for and this is a top product much better than you can get at Loves or Home Depot. Easy application with no stripping

Used this for years, I like it.

I have used this for years on my boat and have not found anything with a finish this beautiful. I started with Snappy Teak 1 which is sodium hydroxide (potassium hydroxide works just as well) to clean off the old finish. Wear gloves and eye protection (it will literally eat a hole in your fingers and you'll wonder where the blood came from because you won't feel it and it will blind you if you get it in your eyes). Wet the real and lightly scrub with brush. Rinse well with water and apply snappy teak 2 which will brighten to a nice blonde color. Once dry, paint with deks olje 1. Let dry and apply several coats of deks olje 2. Allow each coat to dry. Absolutely stunning. To keep it looking great you will probably need to apply deks olje 2 periodically thruout the year depending on how harsh the environment is.
