I like this item for its sleek stylish design. I also like it for its durability being stainless steel and ample size.

This has proven to be a nice kit, especially since the tongs are included. It's held up to repeated uses pretty well too. I'm not sure about how useful the base plate is but you don't have to use it. It does seem to insulate the ice fairly well too. Overall it's been a good purchase.
