Eye LIKE this!!!
I think this is the best replacement/upgrade eyepiece for the Nikon Z8…gives that extra extension so as that your nose doesn’t get squashed into screen…you will feel the BIG DIFFERENCE when you put it on and blocks out distractions on your peripheral vision..easier to keep both eyes open for Photography…and it looks decent on the Camera..Well Done

A real gamechanger
Wow what an upgrade to my Z6 III. Fits perfect, doesnt obstruct anything, fits jsut the same in my case and now I find myself actually wanting to use my viewfinder. Very comfortable and blocks out the incoming light. I know the Z6 III has a brighter viewfinder but with this eyepiece I just enjoy using it so much more. Easy install and soft feel.

Maybe too soft?
I decided to give this viewfinder eyecup a try after seeing one on another photographer's gear, to see if it blocked light coming into the viewfinder from the side of my eye. I've had mixed results, but think it's because I'm deforming the cup by pressing too hard on it to adjust the distance between my eye, and the viewfinder. So, I've rated it 4 stars because it hasn't yet met my expectations. On a positive note, the depth of the eyecup keeps my face a bit farther away from the LCD display so I don't smudge it with my nose!

Great for light use
I like the size of this product and the price, but it’s being light weight rules it out for professional use in the long run.I’ve ordered three, but the last two showed wear with tears in the rubber where the cup connects to the mounting ring after five or so months of moderate use. If the company makes a more durable eyepiece that locks in place, they will have a product consumers can count on.I’m going back to reliable Hoodman brand. They’re a little more money, but worth it. Hoodman doesn’t have a nice stylish appearance like this one, but functionality often over rules appearance for me.
