such a cute book for any kid. the sensory textures are entertaining but the content of the book is obviously aimed towards toddler. got as a gift for a 1 yr old and she loved the story and matching stuffy.

Cute book, sturdy, the kids love the texture parts. Still look at it after a year.

My kids are OBSESSED with this book! We have the matching stuffy that goes with it. My kids love reading their Jellycat books before bed and cuddling with the matching stuffy at night… it helps them feel safe and keeps them from coming into our bedroom- which is priceless!! The touch-and-feel aspect is great for learning and now that my oldest has started to read, he’s able to read it to his baby brother- highly recommend!

I bought this book along with the matching butterfly for my granddaughter for her birthday. She loved it. Jellycat's items are always top quality, and this item was no exception. The size of the book is just perfect for little hands. This book is not only cute, but it's fun for kids and a great quality. It should last for years to come. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

I picked this book for my daughter because she loves dogs. She is eleven months old and really enjoys this book. It has five different textures: the fluffy ears on the front, a bumpy bone, a soft nose, a ball with cutouts, and a velcro tongue. The pages are sturdy and the textures are really well constructed. There is also a soft tail on the back of the book. The tongue is the clear winner in terms of textures. I was a little disappointed by both the art and the writing, which is pretty underwhelming throughout. I also thought it was too bad that the last spread has just a shiny moon with no textures. But to be fair, my daughter loves pointing at the ill-drawn dog on the last page.
