Seller was just amazing to work with. I bought 4 of these, 3 of them worked fine but 1 was defective. I was in the middle of construction on my business so I didn't get around to installing them for several months. When I found that one wasn't working right I thought I was going to be out of luck, but the seller was incredible and shipped out a new one for me right away even though it had been so long. Very happy with their service! Also the product works great, it's very well made, nice and heavy duty. Should last for a long time.

Ive used a couple of these and they work great. Easy to install, and no issues with them working. IN both my installs I had to cut the jamb to fit it, but install was a breeze and it works perfectly.If I have one complaint, its too quiet when it activates, barely audible. but that does not prevent it from working.

Seems to be a perfectly functional door strike. Note that this one fails insecure on loss of power (I had intended to buy a fail-secure strike as probably most everyone wants, but I'm sure I'll find a use for this as well). Electrical connections are simple to solder to, and installation is a breeze even without instructions. You will probably have to modify the door frame if you're coming from a standard, nonelectric strike, but that's be required for the functionality no matter what strike you buy.

I'm using this strike plate for a proof of concept of an access control system. It seems pretty solid/heavy, and admittedly I dropped it about 4 feet on cement when opening the package, but it seems to still work perfectly. With my project as soon as I power it the strike plate unlocks. It also is very quiet and doesn't make a loud buzz or anything, just a little *click* sound. It came with a diode to install in reverse polarity to absorb transient voltage when you remove power and the magnetic field in the coil collapses.

We purchased 3 of the 12v fail secure, each for similar but different installations. One is flip switch power on, so door won't unintentionally lock you out. On others the power button is pushed, door is opened and automatically goes back to no power/locked position. There is a quiet click when activated, no buzzing or knock sound... which is nice. They are very nice looking, satin finish. According to seller they ARE rated continuous duty. We did leave in the on (open lock) overnight accidentally and had no problems with solenoid overheat or anything. We were a little reluctant to order, the price almost seemed too good. But it came fast, it's heavy duty, strong, nice looking and we are very happy.

Well constructed, but will not unlatch if there is any pressure on the gate. I was hoping the door would pop open when activated, but even a slight amount of pressure and it will not open on it's own. Probably best suited for internal doors without any weather seal.

Works great was easy to install and looks clean. Comes with a cut out diagram and fits nicely in the door frame. 10/10 Would recommend.

Started sticking after 4 weeks, stopped working at 5. I live in the mid-Atlantic and this was used on the front door. Possibly stopped working due to cold weather.
