Yes, have to download the app and r connects though WiFi. Really useful as you don't have to turn on whole if you want to just print one or two pages of something

We can’t set the printer up-it just has an error code. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?

Be careful, I have a similar Pixma model and online with Canon because it would not connect with Asus Chromebook. They asked me the questions, said a technician would phone and help me connect. End story after the technician did not work for Canon and wanted £79.99 to fix problem even though he admitted Canon copiers are not compatible with Chromebook eg Google.
