UV for clean water
This item was in the RO unit we purchased new and performed great so we bought 2 for replacements. One we used 2 months ago as an annual replacement, which has performed as promised thus far, and the 2nd for next year which has been stored with the remainder of the 3 year filter supply we purchased from ispring through Amazon when we purchased the RO system w/UV. All excellent products and customer service.

Seems to only last a little over a year.
I have this UV light installed in the water filtering system to eliminate bacteria and viruses. I can only imagine that it works for that by what I have read. It seems like the bulb only lasts just over a year.

Last 3 months
I bought this product July 19th. With shipping, installation, finally I got it installed about early august.November 8th, it burned out. Ispring claims it works for 8000 hours = 333 days. well 90 days is more than enough to burn it out. I will not buy a new bulb every 3 months. FORGET IT. I have four RO filters from ISPRING, but this is absolutely un-acceptable. This bulb is worthless. Do not waist your money on it. I would have been better buying a Chinese copy of this bulb fo 1/4 of the price. It will not last, that is for sure.

Work beautifully - good product - MUCH cheaper places to buy
Work beautifully - just wish they were cheaper! Old one lasted fairly long (12 months). Primary complaint is the price.1. Spoke to an expert ref the started hours that a bulb is rated. An 8000 hr rating on a bulb is based on a CONTINUOUS ON state - NOT repeated on/off cycles every day (which is exactly what we subject these bulbs to in an RO water filter).Apparently you can equate a single on/off cycle to using approx 4hrs of the bulb's life... which comes out just about right for how much life I've gotten with the last three of these I've installed.2. There are other places out there that sell them for MUCH less.

Excellent replacement lamp
This light is a great savings over others sold through the company that manufactured our under-sink water filter device. The company charged about $75 for a new light. iSpring makes a far superior UV light assembly that incorporates this replacement lamp. This lamp is far cheaper, easier to install in iSpring's UV lamp housing, and this light is of higher quality. It makes this once-a-year lamp replacement a very acceptable purchase.Recommended!

Exact replacement. But pricey.
The lamp is an exact replacement for the original bulb. The bulb that came with the filter only lasted 8 months. I feel that the price is high compared to similar uv bulbs. but then I couldn't find another outlet for the part so I'm stuck.

Great company
iSpring is the best company .. so willing to help, always answer the phone, very pleasant .. I bought their reverse osmosis system in 2018 and needed a UV light .. John walked me thru from start to finish, numbers, codes; everything .. unbelievably kind and helpful .. btw, LOVE my system.. it’s the very best …
