What is the best to remove the glue stuck on my skin?

do i place the gel side on wound then peel white paper off? or is the side with the white paper supposed to go on the wound & gel side outward? plz h

The side with the white paper is the sticky side that goes on the wound. Both sides look the same except one side is sticky. There is a clear strip, with a small blue stripe, on one edge. I assumed you held onto it while placing the pad to keep your fingers off the sticky side but I used the pad on my underarm so I couldn’t manage applying the pad and pulling off the clear strip with one hand.

Do these actually stick? I've not been able to find one bandage to stick for more than 20 minutes ever.
