Grangers Merino Wash/Detergent for Merino Wool Clothing and Accessories, 300 ml

Really good friend of mine brought me a merino wool sweater from Ireland. I love that friend almost as much as I love that sweater (even though there's only about a half-dozen nights in any Sonoran year when I can wear it). This stuff is brilliant. Cleans that wool, keeps it soft & supple, and smells great.

I wear a lot of merino wool through the year. This wash is an excellent value and performs great. My black shirts have stayed black and I have never had an issue with residue or garment deterioration. I am 4-5 bottles in over the year and all have been great.

I wash all of my Merino wool products with this. My skin is sensitive and I have no had any negative reaction to it. I do wish it was scented with essential oil, but fragrance free is okay too.

I've always used a delicate soap on our washable Pendleton blanket, but I thought I would try something specific for wool that didn't have protein damaging enzymes (like the delicate fabric detergent did!). It cleans well, and my blanket had a bit more loft to it after using Grangers. The detergent smells a tiny bit like cedar but I detect no cedar scent (or any scent really) on the clean, dried blanket. It certainly does not smell like a wet dog.

Does a great job. I came to find out that my favorite brand of performance wool products recommends this detergent as their number one choice.

I've been using Granger's Merino Wool Wash for a number of years. Only good things to say about this. I have a lot of wool and cashmere sweaters and base layer turtlenecks. In my climate I wear these all winter and need to wash them by hand periodically. Granger's is a gentle wool wash that leaves my sweaters soft and clean.

I purchased one bottle to try and use when washing my merino wool base layer tops (I have several of them). I am getting ready to order my next bottle because I LOVE how my tops come out of the laundry! They are clean and smell good, and don't seem to be "beat up" from washing in the washing machine (on delicate cycle). I now wash my tops worry free, knowing they will come out of the washing machine clean and not "beat up" by the machine. I wash my tops on delicate cycle and hang to dry, and there is no additional effort required. Easy peasy!!
