I’ve gotten a lot of compliments at work for this. I also hold more than just my ID badge on this, and have had no issues with it being too heavy. The only issue is that over time, the metal loops are starting to irritate the back of my neck. It didn’t start happening until after a couple weeks of use. I’m planning on painting with some clear nail polish to see if that helps at all.

When I saw "Stainless Steel", I guess I expected that this would feel sturdier. The actual chain/necklace part of the lanyard is strong - however, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, right? The connectors and links for holding the badge - and the clasp itself - seem very weak. I used it for about a month or so - and now use it to hold my spare filing cabinet key in my desk drawer. I can't afford to lose my work badge so I switched to a much less attractive but sturdier sewn fabric and hard plastic lanyard.

I bought this in June and the retractable string broke in September. I wear this everyday for work and it works great as I work in a building that has many locked doors that doors require to be badged in to get in those doors. Even though the retractable device broke, I removed that part and clipped the badge holder back on and it still is functionable, just a little short now. I've had other jeweled lanyards and this one for the chain is most durable and very attractive looking. I get compliments all the time. It is just a bummer the retractable piece broke. Maybe if the company reads this they can let me know if just that piece is replaceable. Overall I recommend this lanyard and will probably buy another one if the piece isn't replaceable. Can't beat the price.

I've been using it about one day a week since July & the metal reel housing thing is coming apart already. I guess if I had been using it daily it would have lasted about a month. Not great for the money.Also, I didn't think about the fact that the I'd would be a heavier weight than a normal necklace, so it digs into the man of my neck a bit. I think I'll go back to fabric lanyards because they're more comfortable.I added a star because it really is cute.

I wanted to replace the ugly lanyard that I was given with my employee badge. This is great quality and is holding up well with daily wear. The badge reel is especially handy for scanning into the building and at the copier. I love having something nice looking around my neck, since wearing a badge and necklace is too much.

Used to Love it! Usually wear a longer necklace and this just looks like a really nice one with retractable badge holder. Lots of compliments when first purchase just 4 months ago. After 2 months of wear, silver is letting off giving it a brassy/ tarnished look. Really wanted it to hold up since the look was what I was going for but buying every couple of months to have it look nice!

I hot tired of the burning plain name tag holder but this one is cute feels like a necklace seems like is would hope up well... I'll update much later if anything changes in color ( some silver will fade over time ) or if it starts falling apart .However just by look I feel like this name tag is durable
