Good replacement for my gfci plug gone bad

Bought First One.... Was Great Worked Fine.... No Problems...... Bought Second One....... Could Never Get The White Line Screw To Clamp Onto The Wire..... Wire Continually Came Loose & Failed To Connect. Ended Up.... I Through Away The Unit & Went To The Local Hardware Store Foe A Replacement. Total Luck Of The Draw.... Apparently.

I'll start this review by saying I'm not an expert handyman or electrician, but over the years I learned and installed many electrical parts, mostly effortlessly. In this there is a combination of product and situation. The situation is that the wires available for the connection are perhaps too thick, since they were routed for kitchen where they are expected to feed high power appliances (i.e., slow cooker, toaster, food processor, etc.), which to require a bit more power. With that in mind, I found it very hard to fit the loop of the wire into these outlets, the hot screws are copper which a good thing, but in general too short and made it very hard to fit the wires. I will end up calling a professional and we'll decide whether to insist with these or go for a higher quality/price outlets. Perhaps other people have had better experiences.
