The quality of this gun is really good, but not what I expected. It's made out of a hard rubber and the revolver doesn't actually open, so it's VERY much just a prop-gun. It's very sturdy and it's very well made. It's a lot bigger than I expected it to be, but it's very nice and I love the quality of it. I would recommend for people who want actually prop-guns and not guns that are like cap-guns or an open revolver.I used this for a cosplay and I had to paint some of it gold (so the whole thing wasn't silver) it's very easy to paint and made modifications too!

Purchased this as part of a costume for a play. Looks very realistic! It is quite large. Even though it's made of foam, it seems pretty tough. It made it through multiple rehearsals and performances, as well as being dropped many times, just fine. It is still in perfect condition. Also, it arrived very quickly and is exactly as described in the listing.

Bought as a Halloween costume prop. The hammer spur broke off within minutes and it was being carried, not even taken out of the holster.

Definitely a kids costume item or toy, they are cute but giant, also they are made of foam in some areas and are hard in others

This is a bit oversized compared to a real Colt Single Action Army revolver. It is about 2 inches longer (from tip of barrel to back of grip) than an actual colt and is thicker as well. Its handle is much bigger than a real colt. As such it does not fit well in a holster made for a real Colt. Fortunately it is foam and although very firm can be compressed slightly and so can be squeezed into certain types of holsters. It is completely non-functional. There are no moving parts.The manufacturers neglected to paint (or mold, for that matter) a backstrap on the handle. But some blue painters tape and metallic silver acrylic paint can rectify that. The flashing from its being molded has not been removed but can be trimmed. The orange tip can be cut off with a box cutter or knife.It is fine for a costume and from several feet away can pass for a metal gun.
