Good quality product. Just check the location where the wire is coming through
This product is easy to install, just make sure to use waterproof connectors (the smallest size) that you can find at Homedepot for $2. The LED light is very bright. We are very pleased with the product and its quality. The only downside, in my particular case, is that the wire comes down by the front side (by the lights), and in my previous light it was by the back side of the light base, so the hole in the boat was not aligned with the wire location. Other than that, it is a great product.

Cheap, but works good once you buy better hardware than what’s provided
It’s a pain to install because they send cheap hardware. Even after pre drilling holes (Which I had to guess on as they don’t tell you what size to pre drill hole to) the screws stripped out before getting them even half way in. Also, make sure you buy electrical tape and a wire cap as they don’t send any electrical hardware. Once I got some replacement hardware from my local hardware store screws made it in the hole just fine.

(UPDATE: FAILED) Bright and Well Made
UPDATE April 2025: The light is completely dead. Lasted less than 6 months of use. nicely made bow light. My only complaint is that the wires are very very thin, You need to be careful stripping them back. Otherwise you could rip them in half.

Nice light. Some DIY skills needed for installation.
This was perfect size replacement for my Monterey 2009 180FS, and I suspect it’s a good fit for any standard 18 to 20 foot open bow walkthrough ski boat (eg Bayliner). Had to drill mounting holes (no biggee), but the hookup wires are super thin (like 22 gauge). I had to be real careful and solder connectors to match my wiring. And polarity matters! Be sure to test the light before you silicone it down.
