Great water heater
I actually bought this water heater for home use and it's great. I don't have to use the old one no more. The capacity is way much more than the old one.

Defective and unsafe
Bought this for use at our church on Sunday mornings. Tested it once with water when I received it. Used it for two Sundays. I cleaned the internal urn with light soap and water and never submerged the base where the electronics are. After cleaning it was dried and stored in its original packaging. This Sunday the urn started in heating mode and would prematurely switch to “keep warm” without having brewed coffee. I had 30 cups worth of water inside and added 15 more after it failed to brew, wondering if I needed more. I attempted to restart it and it went from heating mode to “keep warm” in under 5 minutes, not brewing coffee. We had to rely on our old Mr. Coffee for coffee that morning and did not have enough for our church. Flat out embarrassing. I brought it home and tested it again and it tripped the breaker in my house. This is not safe, not reliable, and not worth the money. I’ll be returning it and going with a West Bend or another brand with a proven track record. Save yourself the frustration.

This kettle is incredibly practical!
This kettle is incredibly practical! Its large capacity makes it perfect for home use or preparing hot drinks at parties. The faucet flows smoothly, the stainless steel exterior feels premium, and the on/off switch is simple and intuitive, with one-touch operation. The only caveat is that the exterior can get a bit hot, so be careful. Overall, I'm very satisfied and it's a great value.

Why You Should Never Buy This???? (UPDATED 6/26)
(UPDATE 6/26)SYBO reached out to me about 30 days ago, offering a 50% refund in the form of an Amazon gift card (item had malfunctioned after the return window ad expired). They didn't have to do that, so I respect that. At least they are interested in making things right (better, anyway). So based on that, I would suggest that anyone who has bought this product recently, if you have any problems with yours don't assume it is okay or going to get better. Let them know before the return window expires. I am sure they will take care of it 100%.I would give the company 4 1/2 stars for their efforts, although the product needs to be improved (fixed) before I would rate it any higher.-------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW:Extremely high probability it will malfunction within a couple of months (or less) from when you get it! The electronic components are designed to fail. It consists of a heating element and 2 sensors (one monitors the water temp, the other the heating element's temp). If you start to notice the unit turning on and off constantly (without heating the water much at all) and you will, trust me; then the unit is already faulty. This is because the heating unit sensor is cutting out on you. The real problem is that the heating unit itself isn't even designed to withstand fully heating up. The sensor clicks on and off the prevent the heating element from burning out, meanwhile you get less and less hot water until it doesn't give you any hot water at all.By-passing the faulty sensor will simply allow the heating unit to burn itself out very quickly. If you don't by-pass the sensor, you end up with a pot that won't heat the water. If the heating unit was actually made to "heat up", then second sensor (the water temp sensor) would shut off the heating unit when the water was hot. That is how it is supposed to work, but the heating element burns up (no matter how much water you have in the pot) long before the water temp sensor kicks in.The heating element sensor should only be kicking in if the heating element is actually overheating (such as if the pot was left on and there was no water in the pot) to prevent an electrical fire. Only the water temp sensor should be going on and off during normal operation. I tested the heating element and corresponding sensor using an electronics meter and found them both to be faulty.I would advise staying away from SYBO (at any price level, since it is likely they all have the same parts) also avoid anything that looks identical, as these days they simply screen print anybody's brand name on the same products from the same factory.I don't have a recommended product to mention at this time. Not sure if there is anything as dependable as the old MIRROR hot pots were. But, I wouldn't waste my money (again) on one of these.
