Very happy with this purchase. Solid, sturdy quality. Easy to use, and works exactly as described.To start, the foil cutter works perfectly. Second, the bottle is held firmly in place by the corkscrew's grips. Third, it can't get much easier to insert the corkscrew into the cork and remove the cork. And fourth, the replacement corkscrew is nice to have included, and is very simple to replace when needed.Two things I've noticed. The product didn't come with a "wine pourer" as the description states. What it did come with instead was a metal cork replacement with rubber "o-rings" on it to seal the wine bottle after opening(shown in the pictures of the product). Also, the grips don't grab the cork very well to remove the cork from the corkscrew after it's removed from the wine bottle. But, it's easy to hold the cork below the grips with your fingers, and lift the lever to remove the corkscrew. Both of these issues certainly don't reduce the overall rating of the product.Highly recommended. Well worth the price.Edit: Update May 1, 2020. They don't honor the free gift offer they include with their product. No response from the email given in the offer. Understandably, this is a unique time. But, surely they have at least someone remotely monitoring and responding from this email given.Absolutely love the product. However, their customer relations and appreciation leaves a bit to be desired.

I like that the product opens wine bottles in two simple movements, inserting the cork screw and removing the cork.. Using this tool the cork screw always is perfectly centered on the cork, and can be easily removed without the cork breaking. The extra accessories are also nice, cork stopper, foil cutter. I don't imagine I will ever need the second screw. The stand fits the wine opener perfectly and keeps it upright so the screw doesn't get dull. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a nice to use wine opener.

This bottle opener is terrific. It grips the bottle and drives the screw into a cork like it was butter. Totally straight down, no effort, no crumbles. Perfecto! It is also nicely heavy and handling is easy - you are in full control. It has a stand, so when you are done, place it in the stand and it will be looking good and professional on your counter.

Second update - the company did finally reach out to me and quickly sent me a replacement which so far is working as good as I originally said. I was at 5 stars originally because it is the best wine opener I have used (and I have opened a lot of wine :-) ). It went to 1 star when it broke and zero response from the company. Now that the company has responded in a quality manner and I am back using the best wine opener I moved it to 4 stars giving them the benefit of the doubt. However, if it breaks again...First Update - Was a great opener when it worked. Broke after two months with no response from the seller and no way to contact the manufacturer. Talked to Amazon and of course, it was past the return date so they couldn't do anything. They couldn't even figure out who the manufacturer was. So a non-working product after two months is now a paperweight.I have gone through so many types of cork removers. From just a basic cork-screw to powered one. I had a power one that worked for a year or so and lately I was trying the air pump one. All have some sort of issue and the power one went into trash a few weeks ago. Even had a bad rabbit opener years ago - which didn't work.Thank goodness for this rabbit opener. It is high-quality metal construction and best of all IT WORKS!. And it works great. Smooth, easy to use, and easy to remove the cork from the bottle and from the rabbit. It even comes with a nice little (plastic) stand for the rabbit to sit on. The stand also houses a foil remover that works well.It now sits on my counter in place of that pretty power one that just didn't last.Wouldn't defintiely recommend and buy again if required.

I bought two of these. The first lasted all of two months. The second one lasted four months. Little pieces come popping out of them. The worst is the little round spring-loaded bushings on the sides. Also, a grommet on the bottom fell out on the second one. I realize they're cheap and essentially disposable, but they should last longer than that! Now Amazon is selling the Rabbit version for 17 bucks, so I've ordered a third one, foolish though that may be. If this third one fails, I'm back to a restaurant server style manual opener. The original Screwpull Leverpull opener by La Creuset that I bought in 2003 lasted twelve years, until 2015. (A second by Creuset lasted only 5 years.) But the new ones like this one seem to have lifespans measured in months that you can count on your fingers -- of one hand. Maybe I'll get lucky this time and get one that'll last a whole year.

I inherited a large collection of old bottles of wine, many with fragile corks. This tool works well with almost every cork, and it's easier on my arthritic hands than any other form of opener that I've tried. BUT after this purchase I was offered a 'free gift' if I posted a review and then sent a screenshot of that to an email address. Did that, THEN they wanted a link to the review -- and then someone asked if it wasn't 'live' anymore. (It's available online to anyone.) I suspect a scam here, though I think all they've got is my email address unless they have access to data from the Amazon purchase. Just want to warn others. I could be wrong and this could work out, but so far it's very skeevy.
