Great shaving soap. Makes a really good lather quickly and the scents are excellent. Presents an incredible value as well. They may not smell exactly as expected, but they do smell very nice and work even better. It's easy to get a close, comfortable shave with these, and it's no coincidence that they have high-quality ingredients. For all of this, the price can't be beat.

Let me say upfront that I do NOT have a heavy beard. I normally shave 3-4 times per week. I’m retired so a little grubbiness doesn’t bother me. These bars provide plenty of shaving soap, and have a pleasant scent to them. I simply place the bar under warm water for a few seconds and then rub it between my hands to generate the soap before applying to my face. I usually do this twice to make sure my whiskers are soft before shaving.I wanted to buy a cup and brush but never got around to buying them. It works well by using the technique I mentioned.Also, these last a good long time, although the fragrance begins to fade after time.And, they are much cheaper than buying cans of shaving gel. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

I almost never write glowing reviews like this, but I had to let you all know that this is the shave soap I've been looking for for many years. I've tried a variety of $25+ dollar shave soaps, I've tried the cheap ones from Walmart, and I was just starting to think that there wasn't a really great one out there.But let me tell you, I ordered these and I've finally found what I was looking for. First of all, at the time of this writing, four pucks of this stuff was only $10? I have paid four times that amount for a lot of the others I've tried that weren't nearly as good. There's no wasted packaging, I'm not paying for yet another fancy plastic or metal container with these, and every single one of them smells AMAZING. I do a post shave lotion which I don't always do now because I want to keep the smell of these soaps with me for a while, and also because since I've been using these, I get far less razor burn and bumps.But the absolute best part of these is that they lather like a dream. They lather like I didn't even think was possible, a thick, velvety, smooth, fantastic smelling dream. I have actually started shaving more often because it's so great, and also because I am able to with this stuff, due to the razor burn/bump issue not being a problem anymore. I wish I could shake the hand of whoever makes this stuff, great job!I just ordered another set of these because I'm afraid that I won't be able to find these again when I run out.
