It's easy to install, and instructions come with it, if you need them. You invested in a high quality air purifier, so don't second guess when buying replacement components.

Have tried alternate replacement filters for the IQAir filters, including the IQAir HyperHepa Filter, and have found them sorely lacking in Fit, Quality Standards, etc. Will never do that again it is just not worth it. Have always had Outstanding Quality, Fit, and Filter usage with IQair filters. Will always purchase Genuine IQAir Filters for my IQAir HealthPro Plus machine.

I do not question the quality of IQ Air but their prices are very high. This is however probably the best filtering HEPA cartridge on the market (Really takes out the tiny particles). I bought my machine back in the mid 2000's and cartridges were expensive then too. But IQAir no longer works with dealers so good luck trying to find a "Deal". You pay full price for all their stuff. At least you can trust the quality. Do NOT expect these to go 4 years if you have dirty air. In a house with fairly clean air you can do it. They should sell a monitoring device to check the output of the air coming from you System not just rely on a set number of hours as a replacement metric.

The main hyper HEPA filter for the HealthPro Plus is outstanding in the job it does in removing dust and particles from the air. The photo is a screenshot of my air quality detector output from my main living space. The IQAir purifier has been doing a first class job for the past 20 years. After receiving the air quality meter I obtained proof that it’s working well. The HEPA filter lasts about 2 years for me since I keep the air cleaner running almost constantly. Admittedly getting the filter into and out of the Health Pro isn’t the easiest, especially the pre filter. My environment is Oklahoma so there is a good amount of dust and particulate matter in the air. With the HealthPro there are zero dust particle visible. I’ve never noticed a smell from the Hyper HEPA filter that others have recorded. Overall an expensive yet highly effective air filter.
