Does the job.
I like that I can use a lot of fertilizer while using it. What I don't like is that the so called "edge guard" doesn't seem to stop the fert from going on the protected side. I've seen others having questions about this with this spreader. I would recommend it if you need to use a lot of fert, but if you want true edge protection, from my experience, this isn't the spreader for that.

Useless. Throwing it with your hands works better
Perhaps mine was defective but I had just started using it to spread grass seed when the propeller underneath stopped spinning so it was only distributing in a straight line. So I started throwing the grass seed with my hands out of the bucket. Then the propeller drops off the bottom and all my grass seed poured out onto the ground….Should’ve just thrown the grass seed by hand out of the bag.I attempted to reassemble it after and when put back together only 1 wheel would rotate while the other dragged along, still no spin of the propeller underneath. Complete garbage. DO NOT BUY

Seems cheap
So far it works..... But seems very cheaply built. Did not receive the spreader settings guide like the listing states. Crappy plastic wheels. We will see how it holds up, but at first look it's not worth nearly what's being charged.

Smooth operation, spreads above the wheels!
I did a bunch of research on the three top brands. The Earthway is the best! It has smooth wheel to spinner power. It spreads above the wheels so none of the product hit's the wheel and creates stripes in the lawn. Has a bigger basket to hold product for bigger yards, not so many stop and starts. Easily worth the money, if i need to buy again, I would.

Not bad ...
Spreads great. Handle is very short.

Not too sturdy not too flimsy
Does the job while not too heavy on the pocket. Arrived on time. Does not look like one of those tools that will last very long in the shed.

Small cheap spreader
This is a very small cheap spreader, I wish that I had spent a few more dollars and got a bigger one. The handle to push it are made for a ten year older and are to short to be comfortable to push around by an adult. The spreader controls are not workable and are cheaply done and do a poor job. Would not recommend it.
